1. No blemishes Unlike heavy formulations, there's no worry about breakouts. 2. Winter hydration sorted It feels like it forms a thick protective layer on the skin. Apply before bed and forget about hydration concerns (not recommended before makeup) 3. Fragrance-free 4. Price You can purchase 114g for under $10 1. Texture It has a thick, rich texture that Koreans typically dislike, which might feel heavy outside of winter 2. Application Must be applied to completely dry skin. Otherwise, it spreads unevenly and turns white like a high-SPF sunscreen Apply in thin layers to avoid a heavy feel. Due to its rich formulation, pat it in to help absorption - pe******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 1, 2023
Affordable and gives the impression it'll be good for your skin. It has a rich texture that absorbs quickly into the skin. The scent is quite strong. As soon as you apply it, you're hit with a rather unpleasant smell. The absorbs well improves if you mix it with a hydrating moisturizer or jojoba oil. - he*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 29, 2023
Hydration and price... Fantastic! While I don't expect miracles from basic skincare (like elasticity - that's what dermatologists are for, right?), I do expect decent moisturizing, and this delivers! The texture is a bit thick, so it goes on white at first, but it absorbs quickly. Once it's in, the hydration lasts until I wash my face. And let's talk about that volume and price... It's incredibly affordable! The scent... oh boy. I had to knock off a star because of it. It's way too strong. It even seeps into my mask, making it a bit overwhelming when I breathe. Pro tip: Mix it with any oil for ultimate hydration. It works wonders! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 16, 2022
I have combination dehydrated skin. Despite its rich, ointment-like texture typical of Vitamin E products, it absorbs well and quickly. It's also very effective for hydration. While it doesn't provide dramatic Vitamin E effects, it has a high vitamin content, making it great for anti-aging. It's good value for money and suitable for daily use all year round. Personally, I love its baby-like scent too. It's quite a hassle that it's only available through overseas purchases. It's great for mixing with rosehip oil, hydrating creams, retinol, and other oils depending on your skin's condition at the time. - on****Combination SkinRecommendedMar 31, 2022
It feels moisturizing without being greasy. I was worried it might feel like Vaseline or Nivea, but it absorbs well and doesn't sit on top of the skin. It's better than I expected. There's a floral scent that gives it a slightly foreign feel. I think an unscented version would be preferable. - wo******Normal SkinRecommendedJan 30, 2022
The scent is lovely - powdery without any floral notes! I bought this because I heard vitamin E is good for scars. I plan to apply it right after my blemishes subside. I'm using it on my back, on pigmented areas after hair removal on my legs, and even on arm scars that scar ointments couldn't fade. I'll keep using it if I see good results. I appreciate that iHerb sells it in smaller quantities. It's too drying to use as a facial cream. I apply other products first and only use this on specific areas. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 26, 2022
When I apply this before bed, I definitely wake up to noticeably smoother skin in the morning! It doesn't absorb immediately, so you need to massage it in for a while when applying. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 15, 2021
Great value for the amount you get! It's quite rich, so I mix it with other products before bed and apply it that way. I didn't experience any adverse reactions! Of course, it's not like my skin magically transformed overnight. I'm just hoping that with consistent use, I'll see some improvements, so I'll keep using it diligently. Given its affordable price, the ingredients might not be as premium as some other vitamin E products. However, it's not low quality either, making it perfect for generous application without worrying about the cost. Being a budget-friendly option, it comes in a thin plastic container which is a bit disappointing. It's not very convenient to use, and I worry it might break easily if dropped from a height. The jar packaging is also inconvenient - using your fingers to scoop out the product can introduce dust and get under your nails. I've transferred mine to an empty tube container for easier use! - ro*******Dry SkinRecommendedApr 30, 2021
As the seasons changed, I noticed my skin was getting drier. At first, the texture seemed a bit thick, so I mixed it with my regular cream. After about a week, I felt comfortable using it on its own, and now I apply it alone at night. As I've gotten older, my face often felt dry and tight, but I didn't experience that sensation while using this cream. I can feel my skin becoming noticeably softer. Before, nothing seemed to make a difference - scrubs, pads, oil cleansing, sheet masks, skincare devices - you name it. But after about two weeks of use, I can feel a significant improvement in my skin's smoothness when I touch it during my morning and evening cleansing routines. Above all, the price point is the best feature. While the quantity is small, I prefer this jar format to larger ones. With bigger jars, you have to use them for longer, increasing the number of times your fingers dip in, which can feel unsanitary over time. With this size, I'll use it up quickly, so that's one less worry. The only downside might be that due to the Vitamin E content, it should only be applied at night. When purchasing from overseas, I recommend buying jojoba oil along with it. Add a few drops of the oil to your toner before applying to your face, then layer this cream on top for super hydration. Just make sure to thoroughly cleanse with a foaming cleanser in the morning to wash it all off properly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 31, 2021
The cream has a rich texture and applies even better when mixed with oil. I apply a hydrating serum first, then finish with this cream. I'm satisfied with how long the moisturizing effect lasts, and my face doesn't feel parched in the morning. It's great to be able to get a vitamin E cream at such an affordable price! When applied alone in large amounts, it sometimes doesn't absorb well and can leave a white cast. It needs to be applied in small amounts with a massaging motion. 1. Apply in thin layers with a massaging motion 2. Use after a serum while skin is still hydrated 3. Mix with a drop or two of facial oil for better application
