ProsI'm thrilled to have found this marula oil at such a great price, especially considering how expensive it usually is. The hydrating power is impressive too!
ConsAfter using a high-end marula oil and comparing it to this one, I noticed this feels a bit more oily and seems to absorb slightly slower.

ProsEven though I usually have trouble with mild oils, this product doesn't cause any issues. It seems gentle and has good moisturizing properties.
ConsThere is a slight seed-like scent to it. It's not strong enough to notice when applied, but some may find the seed-like fragrance unfamiliar.
TipI also mix this with products like daily toners and use it for massage purposes.

ProsI'm curious why there are no real reviews...
My skin type: Steroid side effects with redness and ultra-sensitive skin (the side effects have subsided, but I have ultra-sensitive skin), and extremely dry skin.
I really suffered a lot for 2 years, going to the dermatologist and taking medication due to steroid side effects. After taking oral medication for 2 years with no improvement, I started treatment with herbal medicine through a friend's recommendation, and my skin improved a lot while using the ㄴㅅㅋ cosmetics (not an ad, the herbal medicine seems to have worked well). I applied the ㄴㅅㅋ Marula oil as the last step of my skincare routine and when applying makeup, and it worked really well for my skin, but it was discontinued. While searching for another face oil, I tried Jojoba oil, but it was too light and drying for me... So I was looking for the Marula oil again and found The Ordinary Marula oil. I was worried about using it on my ultra-sensitive skin, but it turned out to be great. The ㄴㅅㅋ was too expensive for me, but The Ordinary Marula oil is reasonably priced, and I really like the dewy, glowing finish it gives my skin. It's a slightly heavier type of oil, so I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin types, but it works well for my very dry skin. At night, I apply the oil and wake up without much dryness - I'm so happy to have found my holy grail product!
ConsThe disappointing part is that the opening and closing mechanism doesn't have much rotation, so it feels a bit inconvenient. The width of the rotating part is not very large, and there are vertical lines on the outer part as an anti-slip feature, which makes it a bit uncomfortable to open. I think a larger capacity option would be even better.

ProsWhy is there no review???? I searched online and saw that marula oil is good, so I bought it, but out of all the rose hip, camellia, and jojoba oils I've used so far, this is the most moisturizing!!!! So it's perfect for using in the cold winter!! I always mix oil into my moisturizer and use it 365 days a year - in spring and fall I use jojoba and rose hip, in summer I use camellia, and in winter I use argan, but this is even more moisturizing than argan!! When you mix a drop or two into your final moisturizer, it makes it so wonderfully moisturizing and supple!!!ㅎㅎ It's also great mixed into body lotion!
The Ordinary's oils are affordable compared to other brands!! 30ml lasts a long time, and even better, it's a brand that doesn't do animal testing, which I really appreciate!!!♥
ConsThere isn't one!!!!! There isn't one, so what should I write...ㅜ
TipJust a quick tip - mixing a drop or two into your final moisturizer is great!!
