I've been using Dr. Jart's sunscreen for nearly a decade, and I absolutely love it! There's really nothing to complain about. I can't think of any reason not to recommend it. - oj*****Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 15, 2025
It's great because it's non-irritating, so there's no eye irritation and the skin doesn't feel stinging. After applying it, as time passes, it becomes dry and my face feels a bit taut. I think I should establish a solid skincare routine and apply it thoroughly. - ha*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 10, 2025
I've been using this since last year, and I highly recommend it for summer use. It provides excellent sun protection and evens skin tone, making it perfect for those no-makeup days. It's a great brightening moisturizer for the warmer months! As someone with dry skin, I find it disappointing that I can't use this in winter. It would be better if it had more hydration and provided a more effective complexion-evening effect. Keep in mind that if you have dry skin, it might not be suitable for winter use as it could potentially emphasize dead skin cells. It works best in summer for most skin types. - po******Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 26, 2025
This is a fantastic sunscreen to apply before makeup! It's lightweight, doesn't cause pilling, and doesn't have a strong scent. The texture is just like a cream, not sticky at all. There are no downsides! I'm already on my fourth bottle because I can't find a better sunscreen to use before makeup! - cs*******Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 19, 2025
First off, it's incredibly gentle with absolutely no skin irritation, making it perfect for those with super sensitive skin The white cast is way too intense, and it really doesn't absorb well... I also feel deep dryness, so I rarely use it... - mi*********Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 8, 2025
I have super sensitive skin that usually reacts badly to sunscreens, but I used this entire bottle without any blemishes, itching, or allergic reactions. It's definitely going to be a staple in my routine. This sunscreen is truly gentle on the skin. The white cast is quite noticeable. However, since I only use sunscreen as my base makeup, it actually works in my favor as it becomes more natural-looking after a short while. - gp******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 24, 2025
This was a mild and gentle sunscreen. In summer, I tend to look for mineral sunscreens with a thicker texture, and this one fit the bill. There's some white cast initially, but if you pat it in and wait a bit, it disappears. It doesn't play well with makeup. Among mineral sunscreens, this one is on the drier side, so I only used it in the peak of summer. It's a sunscreen that would suit those with oily skin. The amount you get is a bit on the small side. - pu********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 16, 2025
This product has been my holy grail for ages, and I've repurchased it countless times. It's been incredibly useful for my combination dehydrated skin when I want to skip foundation and just apply sunscreen. I love that it's a mineral sunscreen, which prevents blemishes and excess oil. The slight white cast is actually a plus for me, and it cleanses off easily, which I'm very satisfied with. I've never had a sunscreen that I've stuck with for so long. Why is it only available in 30ml? Or am I missing a larger size option somewhere? The 30ml runs out so quickly, and it's a disaster when it gets on dark clothes, leaving white marks. I know that's typical for mineral sunscreens, but still... I always end up cutting open the container to use every last bit, which gets tedious. Plus, it's not exactly cheap. For the first time, I'm switching to a different product... I really wish they'd release a larger size. Also, it tends to melt off easily with sweat in summer, but I guess that's common for most mineral sunscreens. Just adding this sunscreen and a bit of concealer makes your face look incredibly bright and fresh. - re***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 9, 2025
My skin is combination with an oily T-zone and normal U-zone. I bought this product specifically for summer use and was satisfied. As expected from a mineral sunscreen, it's quite thick. It applies with a primer-like feel, lightly coating the skin. The white cast wasn't as noticeable as I thought it would be. Personally, I didn't mind the slight white cast in summer when I'm too lazy for makeup. For those with dry skin, this might be difficult to use even in summer - you might want to look at other products... The white cast and thickness might make makeup applied over it look heavy - ps*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 13, 2024
As someone with oily skin, I liked that it wasn't too slippery. However, now that it's deep winter, I can definitely feel it's quite drying. I guess it's because I have combination dehydrated skin, despite being oily. Still, I'm satisfied with this product as it doesn't cause any blemishes. For those with dry skin, it might be a bit challenging. If you have a facial oil, try mixing a drop or two with this. Given the current weather, you could also blend it with a bit of foundation. Personally, I'm not a big fan of brightening moisturizers, to be honest!
