The standout feature of this product is undoubtedly its 'ingredients'. I've been using Dr. Bronner's + vinegar for 6 years, avoiding conventional shampoos. Due to Dr. Bronner's cost, I've reluctantly been using regular soap for a few months. While it doesn't give the same shine as using conditioner after regular shampoo, it's given me relatively healthy hair - even my hairstylist has noticed! I digress... The reason I tried this shampoo? The ingredients. I always research ingredients before using any product. This shampoo uses natural surfactants and has an EWG green rating (except for fragrance). Intriguing, right? I've heard surfactants are terrible and hard to rinse out, but this shampoo's ingredients really changed my perception of conventional shampoos. The bottle is user-friendly, dispensing a clear shampoo. I was surprised by its transparency and initially by the lack of lather. However, I was even more surprised by its cleansing effectiveness. Despite minimal foam, it cleanses the scalp well. Usually, with low-lather products, you end up using more, but not with this one. I'm not the best writer, but personally, I'm very impressed. One more thing! A few days before getting this, my vinegar rinse bowl broke. I used some old shampoo for a few days, but after switching to this, I noticed less static. For reference, I rarely use conditioner, so static was always an issue. This is my subjective experience as a Hwahae Tester. If I had to use shampoo, I'd choose this one with its great ingredients.
Parfum means fragrance in French, and they're marketing this as a fragrant shampoo, but I can't really smell it. I think mine is musk scented, but whether I rinsed too much or my sense of smell is off, there's no strong, distinct fragrance. However, I actually prefer this. Too strong a scent might cause headaches.
