The color blends in naturally, harmonizing well without standing out as much as black would. It doesn't absorb as smoothly as I'd like, so you need to apply a bit more pressure when drawing lines. - hw******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 29, 2021
For those of us with light undertones who find pure black eyeliner too harsh, and dark chocolate too cool against our eyeshadows, we've struggled to find that perfect balance. Some of us even tried ultra-light caramel brown for a natural look, but failed. Well, listen up! I've always had to use brown eyeliners because black makes me look fierce no matter how I apply it. But I felt guilty about the mismatch with my cool-toned eyeshadows. It was like I was betraying my carefully curated cool makeup look. Then, like a comet streaking across the sky, this grey eyeliner appeared. How did we live without it? The color is incredibly natural. It never clashes with cool eyeshadows, blending so seamlessly it's as if your eyes were naturally defined that way. The texture and color are so perfect, I can't imagine doing my makeup without it anymore. Clio, I'm begging you, please never discontinue this product! The only slight drawback is that despite being a gel pencil liner, it doesn't glide on as smoothly as some competitors. But Clio, that's okay! Just please don't discontinue it. Why are you making me nervous with these 1+1 sales that make it look like you're planning to axe it? Don't discontinue it, please! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 20, 2021
I used this because I dislike the sharp, defined look typical of ink liners, and I'm really satisfied. After applying, I blend the edges with my finger, which gives a much more natural look than ink liners. It's easier to draw with, and if you don't touch it too much, it stays put almost as well as when first applied, even after coming home. I think it would be great for beginners just starting with eyeliners. I definitely intend to repurchase. I extended it quite a bit while using it, but it breaks more easily than expected. It seems you should only extend it a little when applying. Maybe because I broke it, it felt like I used it up quickly? I was surprised to find I'd finished it so soon while using it. Like all liners, it doesn't apply well over foundation on the eyelids! I wiped that area with a tissue before applying the liner. There's also a sharpener at the end to keep the liner pointed, but I never used it to save product. Even without sharpening, it was thin enough to apply well. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 23, 2021
The staying power is excellent compared to other eyeliners I've used. My eyeliner usually disappears after half a day due to oily eyelids, but this one lasts much longer. However, it's case-by-case, so definitely test it at the store first. The best feature is that it comes with both a tip and a sharpener. It's so convenient not having to pack a pointed cotton swab when going out. Since it's a gel eyeliner, even after sharpening, it's difficult to achieve a super sharp line. The rounded tip doesn't allow for as precise application as a pointed cotton swab, which is a bit disappointing. (Because of this, I use it along with a brush pen eyeliner.) However, I rarely need to completely redraw the tail of my eyeliner when I'm out, so carrying just this is sufficient for touch-ups or filling in faded areas. Personally, I would repurchase. Also, being a gel, it's quite delicate. I've broken it a few times, so I'm more careful with it than with brush pens or regular pencils.
