Great value for money with a generous amount! The way it absorbs and applies is pretty decent. The texture is quite watery, so it's not very moisturizing. I had to apply the emulsion cream multiple times. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 12, 2024
It absorbs well and has great application. I enjoyed using it and would definitely use it again. There's not really anything to complain about. If I had to nitpick, maybe the small quantity? - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 10, 2024
It feels like the perfect balance between water and a runny toner. Absorbs well, and just two layers leave your skin incredibly hydrated. The ingredients are great, making it suitable for everyone regardless of age or gender. It's nearly fragrance-free and a gentle toner that doesn't cause any blemishes. Hmm, there's nothing to complain about. It's been a while since I've found a toner I like this much, so I'll definitely keep using it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJul 11, 2023
1. The toner's packaging design is incredibly sleek and clean. 2. Having recently returned from living in Indonesia, my skin was in terrible condition due to the hard water there. This gentle toner was exactly what I needed. 3. It's hydrating and absorbs well into the skin. 4. Keeping it in the fridge and applying it cool provides an amazing soothing effect. As someone with extremely dry skin, I found it slightly drying, but it's certainly not severe. I keep it in the fridge and before applying makeup, I soak a cotton pad generously with the toner and use it as a quick mask. This calms my skin and helps my makeup go on smoothly and stay hydrated. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 10, 2023
Overall impression: It's odorless, and with consistent use, it seems like it could help reduce blemishes. I appreciate that it's not irritating to the skin. 1. Scent: No matter how closely I sniff it, I can't detect any scent at all! 2. Hydration: With other toners I've used, even after applying a generous amount, my skin would feel slightly dry after a few minutes of absorption. With this product, however, even when I apply a lot, it absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling hydrated, not dry. I love that! 3. Acne and sebum: While I can't speak definitively since I haven't used it for a month or two, I did notice some improvement over two weeks! I plan to continue using it consistently, as I believe it might help reduce sebum production over time. 4. Toner mask: I found it effective to use as a toner mask by soaking cotton pads. It gave me a nice boost of hydration! 5. Recommendation: I would recommend this product to those with dry skin or those dealing with excess sebum! #I'll post an updated review after a month of use. 1. Packaging: It's a bit inconvenient as too much product tends to come out when trying to dispense it. 2. Oiliness: While I appreciate the hydration, it does leave a slightly oily feeling afterwards, which is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 8, 2023
This is a perfect water-based toner for summer! Rather than providing intense hydration, it absorbs lightly, leaving a clean feeling. Plus, it has a refreshing scent reminiscent of a subtle forest aroma. It's great for a light evening skincare routine, and since the formula is so watery, you could even put it in a mist bottle for a cool, refreshing spray. After using it for about a week, I didn't notice any special functions or performance. I'd recommend this to those who are just looking for a decent water toner. Absorption: First off, it was a bit stickier than I expected. However, the speed and degree of absorption into the skin seem pretty good. I really love that it's fragrance-free. Hydration: To be honest, I haven't noticed any significant changes since I've only been using it for about a week. But I think with consistent use, it could really help boost hydration. Blemishes: I didn't experience any major breakouts while using it, but coincidentally, I did get some small whiteheads on my nose the day after I started using it. Since I didn't have any other blemishes after that, it's probably not due to the toner - just a random timing thing, right? There wasn't anything I found particularly disappointing, but when I first peeled off the seal (the silver sealing), it came off in one go. The sticky residue left behind, almost like a sticker, caught me off guard a bit. As for the cap, I know it's unavoidable since it has holes, but after using the toner, the small amount left on the rim keeps collecting in the cap. It would be great if this could be improved somehow! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 7, 2023
The absorption was definitely impressive. There's a slight cooling effect, and it provides ample hydration. I love how it calms the skin without leaving any rich residue. What's most important in a toner, I think, is that feeling of complete satisfaction, and this one nails it! While I have no complaints about the formula itself, I was a bit frustrated with the foil seal when I first opened it. It was stuck on there so tightly! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 7, 2023
- I have combination dehydrated and sensitive skin - My skin always felt extremely tight after cleansing, so I only used thick, heavy toners. But when I tried this watery toner, I found it's perfect for this hot, humid summer weather! It absorbs quickly without any stickiness, leaving my skin feeling fresh and uplifted. - My skin quickly shows signs of stress or lack of sleep. After using the Pyunkang Yul toner for about a week, the red and irritated blemishes that had appeared before I started using it have significantly calmed down. - I hardly noticed any downsides. If anything, perhaps due to its texture, it might not provide quite enough hydration for combination dehydrated skin? However, when I use it as a skin pack with cotton pads, my skin feels perfectly balanced and refreshed when I remove them. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 7, 2023
I used this when my skin was sensitive due to blemishes, and it was gentle and non-irritating, which I really appreciated. Applying it after letting it absorb seemed to help calm my skin. The finish is clean, making it perfect for summer use. I also liked that the scent wasn't artificial, being close to fragrance-free. I was hoping it would help with sebum control and dead skin cell care as claimed, but I didn't notice any significant effects in those areas, which was disappointing. I couldn't help but think it might have been better if it contained a bit more AHA and PHA ingredients. It's great for soothing if you keep it in the refrigerator and apply it cool, or use it as a skin pack by soaking cotton pads with it.
