The texture is quite light. Because it's so lightweight, I think it would be perfect to give to my boyfriend - he'd definitely use it.
ConsFor me personally, I prefer a thicker, more nourishing product for an overnight lip mask - something that really soaks in. I tend to apply a generous amount before bed anyway, so it'll attract dust regardless, but this one doesn't quite satisfy my craving for intense hydration. On the other hand, it's not ideal for daytime use either, as it leaves a slight white residue when you rub it in.

Sometimes it's a bit daunting to use a heavy lip balm before makeup, but this one has a light finish, so I find myself reaching for it often.
ConsThe formula seems unstable - the liquid and solid parts separate, making the lip balm 'sweat' and leaving the surface constantly damp. Also, within minutes of application, it turns whitish on my lips, which makes it a bit awkward to use when I'm out.

What's amazing is how well it works! I saw it a lot on YouTube and thought, 'How good could it really be?' But it improved my lips in just one day. It doesn't get into your mouth, and even when you apply it generously before bed, it's still there in the morning due to its light texture. It seems to stay on without being wiped off while sleeping. With my previous products, they would either disappear or feel so uncomfortable that I'd wipe them off, leaving nothing by morning. For someone like me who has a habit of picking at their lips and always struggles with lip condition, this could be a holy grail discovery if the ingredients work well for you!
ConsThe price is a bit... disappointing. It's good to apply frequently, but other lip balms, even if expensive, either have a larger quantity or are more affordable. This one feels somewhat pricey for a lip balm.
TipWhen you apply it to lips in poor condition, it can feel like it dries quickly! I found that wiping with a wet wipe, reapplying, and repeating this two or three times eliminates that drying sensation. For those who usually apply lipstick over lip balm, it's better not to do that with this product. It softens dead skin cells, which might make lip products applied over it look less attractive. I recommend using it to soften dead skin before makeup, then wiping it off completely before applying lip products.

It's like applying water, with a light and airy sensation. It's as if your skin can breathe, almost like being in a sauna. It's hard to describe, so I recommend trying it yourself to experience it. 2. It provides excellent hydration. When applied generously before bed, you wake up with incredibly soft lips. Even a light application is sufficient for ample moisture.
Cons1. It's expensive. The price makes it difficult to stock up, so it's best to look out for discounts or buy-one-get-one-free offers. I managed to purchase a lip mask and lip balm set from a certain marketplace at a much lower price than retail. 2. The formula is quite soft. As you might notice in the second photo, the bottom part broke off... Use it gently and apply small amounts at a time.

Unlike many others that can feel greasy or heavy, this one is incredibly refreshing and lightweight. Even for someone like me who often buys lip balms but rarely uses them, I found myself reaching for this frequently. It has a subtle, natural scent that's the epitome of freshness. Since autumn, I've been struggling with peeling and cracking lips. After applying this every night and morning, the effects were slow at first, but now my lips are so soft and smooth that I can smile freely. You can really feel it working to soften and smooth your lips. I love how it adheres thinly even when you apply a generous amount. As someone with sensitive skin prone to allergies, I'm usually cautious with lip products and cosmetics. My thin skin often reacts with swelling or blemishes around the mouth when using new lip products. However, this caused no irritation at all, making me reach for it even more. The packaging is just right - not too thick, long, or short. It's become one of my most frequently used and favorite lip products.
ConsThe absorption is noticeably poor when applied right after cleansing, using moisturizing products, or when there's any moisture or thin layer of product on the lips. It can feel like it's not adhering well and just sitting on top of the skin. However, I think this is unavoidable due to its refreshing formula and how it adheres to dry lips.
TipIf you find it's not absorbing well, try wiping your lips with a tissue or cleaning the surface of the lip balm to improve application. Some say the effects are even better if you wear a mask after applying the product. While wearing a mask to bed after application might be too much for daily use, I use it as a daily item. When I apply it in the morning and wear a mask to work, my lips stay moisturized and smooth all morning without needing to reapply.

First, it's almost fragrance-free, so it seems suitable for anyone. The texture feels light and refreshing. It's impressive how quickly it helps remove dead skin cells.
ConsThe quantity is too small, and the refreshing quality can actually be a drawback. While I appreciate its lightness, for me it dries out too quickly. It absorbs so fast that it seems to disappear, requiring frequent reapplication.
TipApplying it generously and consistently seems to really improve the condition of my lips.

It felt light on the skin, but still provided great hydration.
ConsThe way it absorbs was a bit disappointing. I wish it went on more smoothly - it didn't seem to adhere well to my lips. It might vary from person to person, but I had to apply multiple layers.
TipI applied this product to my lips whenever I had a chance. As someone with very chapped lips, I used it whenever they felt dry or when I thought about it. Here's my personal tip: Before bed, I apply it thickly about 5 times in a row. When I wake up the next morning, all the dead skin cells have softened!

Even after multiple applications, it remains fresh and light. Yet it still provides good hydration. I'm amazed by this lip balm's unique texture... - Fragrance-free There's absolutely no scent. This might be a matter of personal preference, but I think unscented is better for skincare products than overly sweet fragrances. - Non-sticky It feels great even after several applications.
Cons- Application It's slightly stiff when applying. You need to apply it about five times to feel like it's on properly. - No immediate dead skin cell removal I have a lot of dead skin cells on my lips. The photo is after use, and applying this doesn't make the dead skin cells disappear instantly. (However, it's not lacking in hydration. So it might be better to use it as a soothing mask before bed rather than before makeup.)

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsThis is a review from The Hwahae Testers! (First, let me say that my lips always have a lot of dead skin cells, they're itchy, and I've never been without flaky skin on my lips. They're the kind of lips that make you wonder how to even apply matte lipstick.) I applied this product every night before bed! The first night I received it, I applied it before sleeping, and it felt like my lips were hardening. When I woke up in the morning, I noticed white dead skin cells had surfaced in patches on my lips. How interesting... I gently wiped them off with lukewarm water. It says you can use it as a makeup starter, but for those who struggle with lip flakiness, I recommend applying it before your makeup routine, then wiping it off with a cotton swab just before applying your lip color! It might not work well as a lip balm because the dead skin cells come to the surface. It doesn't feel moisturizing as it seems to float on top of your lips. It's truly a lip mask! Also, it wasn't irritating or tingling at all! The best thing about the Lip:rip lip mask is that it's vegan, right? The packaging of the lip mask was made entirely of sturdy paper from start to finish! It's really the best, absolutely top-notch. I hope more vegan cosmetics come out!
ConsIt doesn't feel like it's boosting hydration, just so you know! I can't really think of any major drawbacks!
TipAfter your skincare and sunscreen, before makeup, apply this. When you finish your makeup, you'll notice some white flakes have surfaced. Then, wipe your entire lips with a cotton swab, and if needed, apply a thin layer of lip balm before your lip makeup for best results!

I love that it's fragrance-free, non-sticky, and feels light without any oiliness after application. As someone whose lips crack 365 days a year and who's tried countless luxury brand lip balms over a decade, I can confidently say this product is the best. On the first night, I applied it before bed and didn't notice much difference the next day. However, after applying it morning and night on the second day, I actually forgot to apply it on the third day because my lips weren't dry at all. Even with just one application before bed, it keeps my lips hydrated all day long.
ConsThere's absolutely nothing to complain about, but I'm writing this to meet the minimum character requirement...
