I usually apply it with my fingers instead of a brush, and it still works wonderfully. While there's a slight shimmer, it's not overpowering. It really brings life to my complexion, so I use it frequently. I think it would be even better without any shimmer at all. Great value for money and long-lasting. The color payoff is excellent too. I think I'll be using only this blush from now on. The only downside is that the lid is difficult to open. I have to use force, which sometimes results in accidentally scratching the blush with my nails. This is truly an excellent blush for daily use! While I tend to use other blushes seasonally, I've been using this one consistently regardless of the time of year. It has a subtle golden shimmer mixed in, and the rosy pink color is so beautiful that it looks gorgeous even when worn alone. I honestly think this might be the prettiest blush I've ever used! The color payoff is true to how it looks in the product, giving a beautifully subtle rose tint! At first, the color seems to apply well, but it fades away quickly as time passes. When applied, it has a subtle gold shimmer that gives a highlighting effect. The color is universally flattering, making it look beautiful on everyone.
