I've tried a lot of tinted sunscreens, and this one is one of the best. As someone who usually wears light makeup, I find that it provides medium coverage, similar to a regular foundation. The color is only available in light shades, so I'm not sure about the other options, but I think the Korean shade 21 would work well for me. It gives a slight brightening effect to the skin tone. Since my skin is sensitive, I've tried a lot of mineral sunscreens, and some of the well-known ones that didn't irritate my skin are Tower 28 Sunny Days Tinted Sunscreen, Saie Sun Melt Sunscreen, Kosas Sun Showstopper SPF 30 (2023 version), and Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40. Out of all of them, this is my clear number one pick. The only downside is that the SPF is 30, which is a bit lower than some other products. I apply a thin layer of the mineral sunscreen and then use it like a foundation on top. It works well with other products too - I can layer it over Tower 28 or Kosas sunscreens without any issues. The Ilia and Saie products, on the other hand, work best when used alone. So in the winter, I might use a richer sunscreen, but in the summer, this mineral sunscreen is perfect as a first layer, with foundation on top. It doesn't cause any allergies or breakouts. Sometimes the super drying mineral sunscreens can have a similar effect, but this one doesn't. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who struggles to find sunscreens they can wear. I picked it up while traveling in the US, but now I see it's available to order in Korea too.
Cons
The only reason I took off one star is because it's a bit pricey. As someone who loves trying new sunscreens, I'm willing to invest a bit more, and I think this one is worth it if you'll use it for the whole year.
Tip
In the winter, I might use a richer sunscreen, but in the summer, this mineral sunscreen is perfect as a first layer, with foundation on top. If you have a slightly drying mineral sunscreen that works well for you, you could try mixing it with this one. And if layering is too much of a hassle, you can just mix them together and apply it that way.
