The best part is that it helps with the itching. I used to get irritated by the occasional itchiness on my face during the day, but while using this soap, I didn't experience any itching.
ConsAt first, I was pleased because my face seemed brighter after washing, but after about two weeks of use, I noticed my skin becoming too dry and deteriorating, so I stopped. I'm not sure if it really helped much with the folliculitis either. In fact, I started getting small bumps... Oddly enough, my dry eye syndrome suddenly worsened while using this, but improved after I stopped. I'm not sure why this happened;
TipFor those with super sensitive skin, daily use might be too harsh. It's probably best to use it once or twice a week.

Even after shopping for dermatologist-recommended products, it wasn't getting better and kept spreading. My mom saw some reviews and said this soap was good, so I thought, 'My skin can't get any worse,' and decided to give it a try. It's been two days now, and after washing with this last night and applying my usual skincare, the folliculitis around my eyes has faded, and most importantly, the itching is gone! The last dermatologist's prescription wasn't bad, but it couldn't control the itching. Also, I used to wake up every morning with one or two hard, painful blemishes, making weekly inflammation injections at the dermatologist's office a routine. Today, no inflammatory acne appeared. Some reviews mentioned it's super drying after washing, but I find it less drying than when I used Senka foam cleanser.
ConsI'm not a fan of the scent. It gives me a headache when I close and open the bathroom door, so I have to leave it open. Regarding the ingredients, they might not be the best, but after getting folliculitis, even products with good ingredients became food for the skin mites. So I don't think that's important anymore. What matters is getting better!
TipWhen I first developed folliculitis, I changed my basic skincare products. But then I experienced bumpy skin texture and spreading folliculitis, so I switched back to my original skincare and changed my cleanser instead. Once my skin adapts to this cleanser, I plan to switch to a propolis-based skincare line, which is said to be good for folliculitis.
