This product has excellent antibacterial properties. After using it, I noticed a significant reduction in my blemishes. Other reviews mention a buttery scent, but I can't detect it. To me, it has a strong perfume smell. - hi******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 10, 2025
Clean feeling No tangling when washing hair After using it, I didn't wash my hair for at least 5 days to write this review, and still no tangling Detox effects may appear like an allergic reaction for a few days Itching can occur for about a week May cause itching similar to a red bump Seems to vary depending on individual constitution, lasting a week or 2-3 days For me, it appeared on my wrists and forearms When washing hair, use this soap once for every three times you use dial soap Hair feels quite stiff, but after using treatment, drying, applying essence, and blow-drying, there's no tangling which is great The scent is barely noticeable, so not recommended if you want a fragrant product As it's an antibacterial soap, it's good for washing hands to protect against fine dust - cr*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 27, 2024
Perfect for my oily skin type! I'm really satisfied with how thoroughly and cleanly it washes. This and Blue Chip are the best, but this one cleanses even better than Blue Chip - absolutely love it. As someone with oily skin, I'm totally satisfied because it doesn't dry me out at all. More expensive than Blue Chip? It's about $3 per bar. Still, it's good because it's cheaper compared to foam cleansers or other handmade soaps. - el***Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 3, 2024
It gives a clean, refreshing feeling and doesn't leave any residue behind It's become so difficult to buy domestically that I have to order from overseas, which is disappointing because the price has increased significantly - v4***Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedJun 27, 2024
I bought this because I heard it works well for folliculitis and acne. It really leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean! It leaves my skin feeling a bit too squeaky clean, which makes it feel quite dry. I'm surprised by the number of potentially harmful ingredients it contains. - ba****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 29, 2024
I'm not sure why, but it seems to help calm down folliculitis and improve overall skin health. It's a bit disappointing that my skin feels too squeaky clean after washing, and being a soap bar, storage can be a bit inconvenient. - he******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 16, 2024

It's my first time trying an American soap after always using Korean ones. I didn't set out to buy Dial specifically, but I spotted it on sale at E-mart and decided to give it a try. The texture is a bit softer compared to Korean cucumber soaps, apricot soaps, or Ha**** Bath soaps. You need to dry it well after use. It has a baby powder-like scent that's surprisingly strong - different from Dove, but equally intense. The fragrance does fade over time as you use it. The cleansing effectiveness is decent. Perhaps due to the yellow coloring, it leaves a yellow tinge when washing hands or doing laundry. I've never experienced this with other soaps. I've used black, purple, and green soaps, but this is the first time I've seen soap suds turn yellowish. It's hard to say if this is a real drawback, as I can't tell if it's just the soap's coloring or if it's actually dirt being washed away due to its strong cleansing power. While it's fine for handwashing, I'm hesitant to use it on white clothes for fear of yellowing. I've relegated it to face and hand washing only. Why on earth did they make the soap yellow, of all colors? It's so easy to misinterpret. Sheesh! It's decent for everyday use, especially at the sale price (though I can't remember exactly how much I paid). - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 1, 2023
It feels like it's fighting bacteria. The scent is pleasant too. I think I need to use it more to fully evaluate. I'm not quite sure yet. Since I have very oily skin, I don't really notice any drying effects. However, it doesn't completely prevent issues like folliculitis. - jh*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 26, 2023
I was really stressed out due to a recent bout of folliculitis, but then I saw rave reviews for the dial soap and decided to give it a try. The best part is that it helps with the itching. I used to get irritated by the occasional itchiness on my face during the day, but while using this soap, I didn't experience any itching. At first, I was pleased because my face seemed brighter after washing, but after about two weeks of use, I noticed my skin becoming too dry and deteriorating, so I stopped. I'm not sure if it really helped much with the folliculitis either. In fact, I started getting small bumps... Oddly enough, my dry eye syndrome suddenly worsened while using this, but improved after I stopped. I'm not sure why this happened; For those with super sensitive skin, daily use might be too harsh. It's probably best to use it once or twice a week.
