While the texture was pleasant, it didn't seem to suit me as I didn't notice any brightening effects at all.

It feels like a hydrating essence when applied, which is great as it doesn't stress the skin. There's no stickiness, and it's even nice to layer.

Strangely, while most essences and ampoules come in similar 30ml sizes, this one seems to run out faster. Usually, I buy others every 1-1.5 months, but this one is almost gone in 3 weeks to a month. Maybe I'm using too much because I'm eager for results...

I was torn between this and Vitamin C, but I heard this was better for freckles and dark spots, so I gave it a try. My freckles were quite dark and numerous, but whether it's because of this product or because I've been wearing a mask and avoiding sun exposure, they've definitely lightened a bit. However, there's no dramatic effect.

# Hydrating
Among brightening skincare products, this one provides the cleanest hydration. Usually, brightening products either skimp on moisture or try to be hydrating but end up feeling oily and heavy. This one, however, feels as light and clean as applying a water-based ampoule.

# Texture
The texture is much clearer and more water-like than I expected. It's thin, so a little goes a long way, and it absorbs quickly. You can layer it without any pilling, and it applies lightly.

# Packaging details
It comes with an extra plastic cover over the dropper. While it's not necessary for everyday use, it's great for travel as it prevents the dropper from tearing or leaking, avoiding any inconvenience.

I couldn't notice any brightening effects. The lack of whitening results is quite disappointing...

First off, it's super hydrating! After using this as my third toner step in my evening routine for 3 months, my skin tone went from shade 21 to 13 (my natural skin tone is between 11-13, and I used this during winter). I'm definitely planning to keep using this product consistently!

I was uneasy from the moment I smelled it. The scent was artificial and seemed like it would cause blemishes... At first, I only applied it to my forehead. It was fine for about 3 days... Then I expanded to my cheeks... After a day or two, pustular acne started creeping up on my forehead. Small bumps appeared too... Even though I have sensitive skin, my forehead was usually tougher than my cheeks and could handle most products. Seeing it affect even my forehead made me think I absolutely can't use this on my face. So now I'm planning to try it on darker areas of my body instead!

While there's nothing particularly outstanding, I feel like my skin looks a tiny bit brighter... though it might just be my imagination. The price is affordable, so I'm thinking of trying it on areas affected by my atopic dermatitis...
