It looks so natural! It's perfect for use along the hairline. Plus, it's super easy to apply. I was hoping to cover up some thinning at the crown, but no chance of that happening... I guess I can't complain since I'm using it for something other than its intended purpose. - 26******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedMar 5, 2025
After debating between Choco Brown and Mystic Black, I decided to go with Black since reviews consistently mentioned that the colors aren't as intense as expected. In terms of size, it's slightly larger than a lipstick but smaller than a multi-balm. However, it might not fit into really tiny handbags! Having used similar hair cushions from other brands before, I think I'll be able to use this Mise-en-Scène one without any issues. Oh, and I was considering products from Dashu, TS, and Mise-en-Scène, but Mise-en-Scène turned out to be the most affordable option. As for the performance, I'll need to use it a bit more to give a proper assessment. As I mentioned earlier, if the product had been a bit more compact, it would have been easier to tuck away in smaller pouches. Now that I'm actually carrying it around, I realize it's larger than I initially thought. - wj**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 23, 2023
It's my first time using a product like this. It's fascinating and applies smoothly. I suppose the transfer issue is unavoidable given the nature of this type of product. - na*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 25, 2023
I've been really worried lately because I'm losing a lot of hair and my scalp is visibly white. But after gently massaging this in, I felt less self-conscious when going out. While I don't use it myself, there's also a brush attachment that could help apply it naturally. The portability is great too. It seems challenging to cover the entire scalp. I only apply it to one area, so it's fine for me, but the amount isn't particularly generous. - su*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedJul 12, 2023
After using a product that required application with a wide puff in compact form, I decided to try a stick version for more convenience when I changed my hair color. I love how it creates a natural shadow effect when I roughly swipe it on with the sponge tip and then smudge it with the brush. The brush is soft yet firm, and its angled cut makes it easy to use. It's lighter than I expected. I'm using it by applying two layers, and I've found that it's best to apply it thickly at first so that it blends beautifully and naturally when smudging. - ra*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 11, 2023
Since I don't dye my hair, I used the black shade! I was pleased with how well it colored my hair. I used it to tidy up my hairline~ It was challenging to use at first. I gradually learned by watching YouTube tutorials - gq********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 6, 2023
Snagged this at a discount during an Olive Young sale. It does a great job covering the hairline. The brush attached to the back makes it easy to apply naturally. It's pricey compared to similar products from Daiso that cost 2000-3000 won. Sometimes the product doesn't come out well, leading to patchy application. Without a fixer, about 30% of it comes off every time you touch your bangs. Make sure to use a fixer after covering your hairline! - jj*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 3, 2023
When hair loss starts at the hairline, it's natural for the forehead to appear wider, making the face look longer. M-shaped hair loss, in particular, can really affect your facial features. An M-shaped forehead tends to give a stronger impression. This product has a dual-sided compact - one side contains the cushion, while the other houses a brush. Inside the cushion lid, there's a balm-like substance. To use, gently pat or rub it onto the desired areas, then blend seamlessly with the brush on the opposite side for a natural finish. The price seems a bit steep compared to the amount of product you get. - se********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 8, 2021
I can't say there was anything particularly great about using this product. Perhaps its portability is the only positive? It makes me nervous when I sweat. It's unusable in summer weather like now. You might be able to use it on cool days in autumn or winter. I wanted to use it to slightly fill in my hairline, but it's difficult to apply. - rl*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsApr 2, 2021
The color payoff was decent. Being a stick format, it's easy to apply with quick swipes. After application, it makes my hair stiff. That natural look? Forget about it. When I touch my hair later while out, it feels hard. Brushing reveals a sticky, matted texture. There's a built-in brush at the end of the stick, but I have no clue how to use it effectively. If I apply the product with the stick and then try to blend with the brush, my hair becomes a static electricity disaster. Worst of all, it transfers easily and doesn't stay put.
