Although it is sold as a lotion, the usage feels similar to an emulsion. It has very little oil content and strong moisture. Those who also use a cream tend to like it! Since it has the feel of an oil-free emulsion, it seems to pair well with an oil-rich cream.
Cons
I found this lotion too drying as I've been finishing with just toner-serum-lotion without using cream... It seems suitable for oily skin As I have combination skin, I need an appropriate amount of oil, but this lotion lacks oil so my skin has become even more dehydrated🥺

As a person with dry skin, I started using this lotion based on my friend's recommendation that it is good for dry skin. 1. I was happy that it was easily available at Olive Young. 2. I liked that the formula was very lightweight.
Cons
Despite the many reviews stating that it is good for dry skin, and my own struggles with dry skin, it didn't quite work for me. Even after applying it in 3 layers at 2-minute intervals, my dry skin still wasn't resolved, and I even experienced a slight film-like effect. So next time, I plan to try a different lotion recommended for dry skin.

If you're looking for a lightweight, non-greasy, and hydrating lotion for your combination skin with acne-prone areas, this lotion is perfect! It's not irritating and feels lightweight. Other lotions would cause breakouts and excess oil, but I didn't experience that with this one. It's a great lotion to stick with and use regularly!
Cons
For those with dry skin, there might be a bit of tightness. On very dry days, it would be a good idea to apply an additional moisturizing cream.

It's great for daily use! The formula is thin and lightweight, so I can apply it multiple times.
Cons
But the inner dryness is too severe. Even though my skin is naturally dry, this didn't help with the inner dryness. So I apply a moisturizing cream first, and then use this product twice.

My skin is generally quite dry, but my T-zone has a bit of oiliness, so it's a combination skin type. I think the spreadability of this product is really excellent.

I have dry, sensitive skin😷 The pump bottle is convenient as it dispenses the product easily👍 The slightly runny texture makes it easy to apply broadly on the skin👍 I like Dr.G's basic products and sunscreens, so I trusted this product too. Cons
It's drying. After applying, the surface just gets oily, and the inner tightness is severe. I didn't even know what 'inner tightness' meant until I used this. When applying it multiple times, it peels off like dirt. This is a first-time experience. Is it not absorbing and just evaporating...? And even if it does absorb, the stinging is a problem.. My skin isn't that sensitive, but during the half-bottle usage, the surface of my skin became too rough. In the end, I discarded it and applied the Cetaphil body lotion I had been using, and my face went back to normal.
