Absorbs quickly into the skin. Great hydration. Can be applied lightly.
ConsMight be a bit insufficient for winter use, you may need to apply an extra layer. Be careful as it can run down your face if you use too much.

As someone with super sensitive skin, I was worried, but I really hope this product never gets discontinued.
ConsThere's nothing bad to say. Well, maybe just that the texture is a bit runny, so it can drip a little.

It's just like the cream I mentioned in my previous review. The cream is better, but this one is decent too.
ConsNothing really bad. Oh, except it's so watery that the tube packaging tends to leak.
TipBuy it when it's on sale.

ConsThere's not really anything to complain about, except maybe it's a bit runny? It seems to flow easily

But recently, due to the dry weather, my usual routine wasn't enough - my cheeks still felt parched. So I tried a sample emulsion I had, and I loved how light and hydrating it was. It absorbs well with almost no sticky or rich feeling. When applied after my serum, I hardly notice any dryness anymore. It's also fragrance-free and has good ingredients.
ConsThe only downside is that it's quite runny and tends to drip easily. Other than that, everything else is fine.

But this one keeps my skin comfortable even with just one application - absolutely fantastic! Overall, it's so gentle and versatile that I can apply it liberally without worry.
ConsThe only downside is that the runny texture can drip if you're not careful when dispensing. Other than that, I didn't notice any particular drawbacks.

Recently, I've been using this product before my regular moisturizer, and I'm thrilled that it helps maintain hydration for longer, preventing my skin from drying out easily! Hydration: This is one of the aspects I loved most about this product. After application, it doesn't feel overly slick, but keeps my skin in a beautifully moisturized state. However, I recommend layering a moisturizer on top of the emulsion to prevent any potential dryness. Blemishes: I have super sensitive skin, so I was worried about potential breakouts. But those concerns were completely unnecessary! I've been using it for over a week, and there's been no sign of blemishes. The ingredients seem to agree with my skin, which is fantastic. User experience: When my skin was irritated, applying this product along with aloe gel helped soothe it quickly. As I needed the extra hydration, I found that after using this emulsion, I didn't need to use a separate moisturizing cream. I was most satisfied with how it didn't leave my skin feeling oily after sleeping with it on. Plus, it's gentle enough to use not just on the face but also on the body, which I really appreciate.
ConsWell, there weren't really any significant downsides, but if I had to nitpick... Scent: The fragrance isn't exactly unscented, but has a slightly sweet aroma? Anyway, this indescribable scent was a bit noticeable, but it didn't bother me much. Texture: This might be the only real drawback of the product. The consistency is somewhat watery, so you need to apply it quickly. I personally prefer a slightly thicker texture that makes the skin feel more firm, so I found this aspect a bit disappointing.
TipSince I have sensitive skin that's easily irritated, when that happens, I apply a thick layer in this order: toner, aloe gel, this product, and then moisturizer before going to bed. It helps calm my skin quickly! I enjoy using cold skincare products, so I keep the emulsion in the refrigerator before use.

While it's manageable in summer, winter is a different story. Without the right products, my entire face peels, and if I don't use gentle formulas, my skin quickly reacts by turning red, burning, and in severe cases, even oozing. The ingredients are gentle. ud83dudc4dud83dudc4dud83dudc4dud83dudc4dud83dudc4d What I appreciated most about this product is how truly gentle it feels. To be honest, I never took winter skincare too seriously before, thinking I just needed to apply a bit more than in summer. However, this winter, after encountering some unsuitable products, my skin's dryness reached its peak, and it became uncontrollable. I researched and bought several products recommended for dry and sensitive skin, but my skin only suffered more. I tried using my mother's products, which finally showed signs of calming my skin, but I was unsure if I should continue due to slight irritation. Fortunately, I was selected to test Dr.G's The Moisture Barrier D Daily Emulsion through The Hwahae Testers program. With great excitement and hope, I used the product for four days. Apart from one other product, I exclusively used this emulsion in my skincare routine. The slight irritation from my mother's products disappeared, and now my skin has completely improved. I'm thrilled! From having red, peeling skin with slight oozing on my cheeks, I now have soft, smooth skin. Finally!!! While my efforts and care played a role, I'm incredibly grateful that this product put a definitive end to my skin troubles. I had also been using Dr.G's Red Blemish Multi Fluid, which my mother gave me. Just when I was about to give up on finding the right skincare product, I won this emulsion through The Hwahae Testers. It feels like fate, as embarrassing as it is to say... haha... Anyway, I'm extremely happy, both before and after receiving the product! ud83dude0a The staying power is decent. ud83dudc4dud83dudc4dud83dudc4d When I use it, the texture feels neither heavy nor light - it's just right. It doesn't bother me as time passes, but when I touch my skin, I can feel that it's still there, soft and smooth. This suggests good staying power. While I wouldn't say it's extremely long-lasting, it's definitely satisfactory. The hydration is good. ud83dudc4dud83dudc4dud83dudc4d All the products I bought this winter were supposed to be hydrating, but they fell short. This one, however, exceeds expectations. While it might not be enough on its own for my dry skin in winter, it would be perfect for summer. Today, when it's a bit humid, my skin feels its best with this product! For winter, I plan to use it with the Red Blemish product in the morning and add another product in the evening. I still need to find that evening product though... More research to do! Right now, using just these two in the morning feels slightly insufficient, but I don't have anything else to apply... haha. For now, I'll stick with these two and look for a lighter morning product and a heavier evening one. (The Red Blemish one seems okay, but I'm not sure exactly what's good about it. I'm using it for now, but it's definitely not moisturizing enough for me.)
ConsThe texture is a bit watery. ud83dudc4e The texture is more watery than the typical emulsion consistency... it flows quite easily. It's not really my style... haha.. Because of the texture, a lot comes out with one pump. It's not hard to control, but be careful at first! What's this scent? ud83dudc4eud83dudc4e It's not unscented, but has a strange, stuffy smell. I don't mind it, but it's definitely not my style... I guess I was too focused on other aspects to notice the scent at first. (After trying various products, I've realized how important scent is. No matter how good a product is, if the scent is off-putting, it's hard to continue using it. Some products even made me slightly nauseous.) This product isn't that bad, and I'm using it well, but it does have an unidentifiable, stuffy scent. Absorption? Well... ud83dudc4e The absorption isn't great. However, it doesn't exactly sit on top of the skin either... I'm not sure, but I'd say it's so-so?
TipI hope you all find products that work well for you too!

I've always struggled to find sufficient hydration from products other than a specific brand's moisturizing cream. This review is based on my experience after switching to Dr.G's product. Texture: What struck me first about Dr.G's 'The Moisture Barrier D Daily Emulsion' was its unique texture. It's quite fluid, which allows it to penetrate the skin easily without leaving any sticky residue. This is definitely a plus point! Hydration (Moisturizing power): Given my history with highly effective moisturizers, I didn't have high expectations for other hydrating creams or emulsions. However, after trying Dr.G for this review, I found that while it may not match my previous go-to product, it certainly outperforms many other moisturizing creams and emulsions on the market in terms of hydration. Despite its fluid consistency, I was pleasantly surprised by its moisturizing power. It kept my skin, including areas affected by atopic dermatitis, hydrated throughout the night without any dryness. When I applied it before bed (around 11 PM) and checked my skin in the morning (around 8 AM), there were no blemishes, and my skin remained moisturized. It feels like it provides over 85% hydration, and the fact that it didn't irritate my sensitive, atopic skin suggests it contains safe ingredients. Absorption: I've always disliked sticky products, despite trying numerous hydrating creams and emulsions. This emulsion feels significantly less sticky compared to other brands. It's perfect for those who dislike that tacky feeling on their skin, and even in winter, it doesn't transfer onto long-sleeved clothing. Pump bottle: The pump bottle design is a great improvement over tube-type or jar-type emulsions and creams. It makes it easy to control the amount and apply quickly, even when you're half-asleep. Ingredients: I always check the ingredients of skincare products, and I use the Hwahae app for this purpose. What I appreciated about this emulsion is that it contains Vitamins D and E, which nourish the skin. The ingredient list, both on the product and the Hwahae app, shows that it's primarily composed of hydrating and moisture-enhancing components. This is crucial for a product meant for moisturizing. Fragrance: Unlike some emulsions or creams that have a chemical scent, this emulsion is fragrance-free, which I love. I have rhinitis, so I'm sensitive to strong scents. I even asked my family members to confirm, and they all agreed it has no noticeable scent. Overall, as someone who struggles with extreme dryness due to atopic dermatitis, I'm quite satisfied with this product.
ConsWhile finding areas for improvement wasn't difficult, there weren't many significant drawbacks. Perhaps these points are somewhat expected: Texture: As I mentioned earlier, there's a slight downside to the texture. While the fluid consistency allows for easy absorption and provides good hydration, it doesn't give that intense, deeply nourishing feeling I've experienced with some other products. This aspect is a bit disappointing, but I'm still satisfied overall. I think I'll use this during less dry seasons, like summer, or when I need a cooling and soothing effect. This emulsion would be great for those who: 🌷 Need hydration but don't have extremely dry skin 🌻 Want a non-sticky emulsion 🌹 Are looking for a soothing and moisturizing emulsion It's perfect for those who prefer a light application that leaves the skin cool and hydrated.
TipAfter showering, I completely dry off and apply this emulsion like a body lotion. I also reapply it to dry areas whenever needed. It has a slight cooling effect, so I've also used it to hydrate and soothe my skin after treating acne breakouts.
