It contains panthenol, which seems to help strengthen the skin barrier.
ConsAs someone with combination dehydrated skin, I find it a bit too rich for my liking, which is disappointing.

I thought it would be a thick cream, but it feels more like a hydrating moisturizer??? It applies thinner than expected and doesn't just absorb with a matte finish, but rather with a nourishing feel which I loved~~ When I applied it to dry, flaky areas, they instantly became moisturized!
ConsHowever, while it absorbs in a nourishing way, it doesn't have that tight, skin-hugging absorption. It's moisturizing, but leaves a slightly oily residue on the skin??? I haven't experienced any blemishes yet, but the feel on the skin is similar to products that have caused breakouts for me in the past. Also, the price is a bit steep considering the amount you get...!!!
TipI think it's most effective and economical to apply it to specific areas~ While it's great for hydration and nourishment, both the texture and price make it a bit burdensome to use all over the face or body!

So when I won the Birch Ato Panthenol Cream, I was incredibly excited. While the texture is thicker than the Moisture Cream, it still absorbs well into the skin. As expected from a children's product, it has a rich feel and acts like an intensive moisturizing spot treatment that really locks in hydration.
ConsGiven its rich consistency, it might be a bit too heavy for adults to use all over their face. However, it should be fine to use occasionally on dry, itchy patches of skin.

First, the ingredients are great, which is reassuring. Second, it absorbs well. Initially, I thought the texture might be thick and hard to spread, but it applies smoothly. Third, its small size makes it perfect for traveling.
ConsFirstly, it feels a bit rich, which might be uncomfortable during summer. Secondly, while the ingredients are good and they've excluded fragrances, it smells rather medicinal. Considering the price for the amount you get, I'd have to think twice about purchasing it.

Its fragrance is subtle, almost unscented, and it contains few harmful ingredients, making it suitable for the whole family, including children.
ConsThe amount you get for the price is a bit disappointing, so you might feel hesitant to apply it generously. You'll likely need to reapply on areas where your skin is particularly weak. The texture is thick, somewhere between a cream and an ointment, which makes it a bit heavy for use under makeup. As the weather gets warmer, you might find it leaves a rich feeling on your skin that could become sticky.
TipFor dry and sensitive skin, gently pat and spread a thin layer for the best absorption!

When used on problem skin (itching, hives), it seems to provide quick relief, and the hydration is great too. It also appears to have good staying power when applied to very dry areas.
ConsWhile it didn't cause any blemishes, the product feels too rich for adults to use on their face. I've been applying it mainly to areas where my child's skin is very dry and itchy, but for that purpose, the amount is disappointingly small. The price feels a bit steep for the quantity you get.
TipI found that mixing it with Birch Ato Emulsion or your regular moisturizer can help balance the oil and moisture levels. That's how I've been using it.

It's not an extremely thick cream, but rather a texture that suits a cream type, though it felt a bit more hydrating. It contains birch tree extract, which is nice. I appreciated that it's fragrance-free.
ConsSince I have combination skin, my T-zone tends to be a bit oily. It seems fine to apply generously on dry areas. However, I noticed some blemishes appearing above my lips. While this could be due to my inadequate cleansing, it might be best to apply it sparingly on areas that aren't typically dry, based on your skin type. To put it simply, areas that are naturally oily might be prone to breakouts, even with the best products.
TipIt's a good idea to understand your skin well and apply the product differently to various areas. When I apply it carefully, avoiding my T-zone, I find that it helps with deep dryness, reduces dead skin cells, and makes my makeup look less cakey.

When applied, you can feel a burst of cool hydration, which seems to be a characteristic of the entire Birch Ato cream line. Once the cream is fully absorbed, it leaves a slightly oily feel. Like most highly moisturizing products, there might be a slight slickness or stickiness remaining. Therefore, it's better suited for targeted application on specific areas rather than daily all-over use, which is typically the intended purpose for this type of product. Overall Impression: I've been consistently using the Ow'lou Birch Ato line, and I find that the Birch Ato emulsion and cream are characterized by their high moisture content and light application compared to other baby creams. As someone with oily skin, I use the emulsion for myself and the cream for my child. Occasionally, during extremely dry winter days when my child scratches their legs or stomach due to dryness, applying the repair emulsion on top works perfectly! It also quickly calmed down occasional contact blemishes around my child's diaper line. Given its smaller volume, it might be burdensome to use all over the body. However, it's very suitable for applying to areas prone to irritation on children, such as cheeks, or easily dried areas like arms and legs, or problem skin areas. As expected, the entire Birch Ato line is gentle, and I'm very satisfied with both its application and functionality.
ConsThe price-to-volume ratio isn't particularly economical, which is somewhat disappointing. For those expecting an extremely heavy, oily texture (similar to an ointment) like some other brands' repair creams, the level of moisturization might be slightly lacking.

Don't worry though, it's not bothersome at all! Unlike other repair creams, this one is noticeably less rich, making it perfect for those with dry skin who find overly oily products uncomfortable. Plus, it's gentle enough for babies, so you can be sure it won't cause any blemishes when applied to your face. I found it great for a simple skincare routine!
ConsWhile the initial application felt great, I noticed that with continued use, it seemed to increase the skin's oiliness, which was a bit disappointing.
TipFor those who like their foundation color but feel it's too drying, you must try mixing in a small amount of this cream! When I used them together, I didn't experience any dryness even after hours of wear. Instead, I was delighted to find it gave my skin a beautiful glow!

So after using an exfoliating toner, acne serum, and hydrating cream, I apply this very thinly. My skin used to peel and have dead skin cells flaking off, but this seems to have helped repair my skin barrier a bit? (Though it had no effect on blemishes) It comes out and applies like an ointment. Even smells like one... (the moisture cream did too) It spreads well, but does have a thick consistency. Sometimes I get unexplained itching on my arms, and after showering and scrubbing too much, it gets red and slightly bleeds. When I apply this before bed, it feels better right away. Once when it was really cold and my hands were chapped, I applied it and it worked great. When a family member was recovering from hives, I suggested using it for moisture and it worked well. While the moisture cream switched to a jar format, I like that this one is still in a tube.
ConsI used the Birch Ato Moisture Cream before, which had some hydration and a nice finish. This one just feels really greasy... It doesn't absorb quickly either. Even after it seems to have absorbed, when you touch your skin it feels like something slippery comes off... Still, it definitely feels more elastic. No matter how good the ingredients are, the price is too high for the amount you get.
TipI probably wouldn't use this before applying makeup. It feels like it might cause pilling. Now that the weather is getting warmer... I definitely wouldn't recommend this for oily skin during the day.
