  Texture: Standard white cream type Scent: Fragrance-free Ingredients: All green-grade Application & Hydration: Despite being a repair cream with enhanced moisturizing properties compared to other Birch Ato creams, it applies very smoothly and feels lightweight. When applied, you can feel a burst of cool hydration, which seems to be a characteristic of the entire Birch Ato cream line. Once the cream is fully absorbed, it leaves a slightly oily feel. Like most highly moisturizing products, there might be a slight slickness or stickiness remaining. Therefore, it's better suited for targeted application on specific areas rather than daily all-over use, which is typically the intended purpose for this type of product. Overall Impression: I've been consistently using the Ow'lou Birch Ato line, and I find that the Birch Ato emulsion and cream are characterized by their high moisture content and light application compared to other baby creams. As someone with oily skin, I use the emulsion for myself and the cream for my child. Occasionally, during extremely dry winter days when my child scratches their legs or stomach due to dryness, applying the repair emulsion on top works perfectly! It also quickly calmed down occasional contact blemishes around my child's diaper line. Given its smaller volume, it might be burdensome to use all over the body. However, it's very suitable for applying to areas prone to irritation on children, such as cheeks, or easily dried areas like arms and legs, or problem skin areas. As expected, the entire Birch Ato line is gentle, and I'm very satisfied with both its application and functionality.

  Cons

  The price-to-volume ratio isn't particularly economical, which is somewhat disappointing. For those expecting an extremely heavy, oily texture (similar to an ointment) like some other brands' repair creams, the level of moisturization might be slightly lacking.

  Overall, it's fragrance-free, but those with sensitive noses might detect a slightly artificial scent. Don't worry though, it's not bothersome at all! Unlike other repair creams, this one is noticeably less rich, making it perfect for those with dry skin who find overly oily products uncomfortable. Plus, it's gentle enough for babies, so you can be sure it won't cause any blemishes when applied to your face. I found it great for a simple skincare routine!

  While the initial application felt great, I noticed that with continued use, it seemed to increase the skin's oiliness, which was a bit disappointing.

  First off, I'm extremely satisfied that it's fragrance-free, and the gentle ingredients are very reassuring. It feels like a cream packed with hydration, perfect for instantly soothing sun-heated skin in summer. When my skin occasionally feels hot due to atopy, applying a small amount to those areas helps calm it down nicely. I love that unlike some creams with gentle formulas that come in metal-like packaging that splits and peels, leaving a mess on your hands, this product's packaging won't do that! The design and packaging are also very appealing.

  Cons

  For my extremely dry skin, it lacks the rich feel I need for winter use. Even after layering on lots of hydration and moisture before bed, my skin still feels parched in the morning... so the moisturizing effect is a bit insufficient for me. It should be enough for those with normal skin types. I think it'll work well for me in summer though.

  It's a white, slightly runny cream-like texture. This makes it easy to apply and there's no white cast, so it's great for putting on babies. The scent is faintly medicinal or alcoholic? It's close to being unscented, so you can barely smell anything after application. The ingredients are gentle, making it safe to use on babies. I've been diligently applying it because my child has been getting small rashes here and there due to the dry weather lately.

  I looked up the price and it's quite expensive for the amount you get. Since I'm applying it all over my child's body, I feel like it will run out quickly. For this price and quantity, I might choose a different product next time. It lacks hydration. When I applied it to my face, it felt like it created a light, non-suffocating oil layer. I think it would be better with some additional moisture.

  This product alone doesn't seem hydrating enough. I think it would be better to use a more hydrating product first, then layer this on top.

  When I first scooped it onto the back of my hand, I thought it might have a thick texture, but it spreads smoothly. It absorbs well, and once absorbed, there's no stickiness or rich feeling at all. The fragrance is unscented.

  Cons

  It seems to absorb too quickly. I wish the hydration would last longer, but I'm concerned that might make it feel more rich. The current level is just right, but I wish it had better moisture retention.

  Tip

  The cream I use at night feels too heavy in the morning, but using just a hydrating moisturizer leaves my skin feeling tight after a while. Mixing this repair cream with my functional cream creates the perfect balance - not too heavy, not too light!

  While others mentioned it comes out thick, I found it to be quite smooth. It applies thinly for a cream, which I appreciate as someone who prefers a light morning moisturizer. The hydration was decent right after cleansing, not bad at all. For my combination dehydrated skin, it seemed to control excess oil well. It also helped calm down the blemishes I'd been getting from wearing a mask. As it's fragrance-free, I felt comfortable using it on my 6-year-old child initially, though I've since decided against it due to a concern.

  I was shocked to find a hair in the cream when I squeezed it out. Since this happened on first use, it couldn't have been mine, which made me quite uncomfortable. I considered stopping use altogether but continued a few more times to write this review. As time passed, my face started feeling increasingly dry. While it seemed to control oil on my combination dehydrated skin, I felt it wasn't providing enough hydration. Those with dry skin might need to layer additional moisturizing products with this.
