  The texture of this moisturizer is pretty standard, with a decent balance of oil and moisture. It's generally okay.

  Cons

  Blemishes appeared within half a day. While pore-clogging ingredients can affect people differently, and I don't always scrutinize every ingredient, I've tried this cream several times with various skincare combinations. Ultimately, this cream was the culprit. Those prone to clogged pores should be cautious.

  Even though I have combination skin, I feel deep dryness. Also, it seems to have caused tiny, millet-like blemishes. I wonder if it's due to pore-clogging ingredients...

  Pros

  It absorbs really well into the skin. I think it's great to use because it contains ceramides, which are beneficial for the skin. It feels like it provides good hydration.

  Cons

  Unfortunately, the ingredients didn't suit my combination dehydrated, acne-prone skin. Even though some ingredients were good, there were pore-clogging components that didn't work for me. Blemishes that had been clearing up started to appear again the next day. It's a shame...

  Tip

  The blue Mamonde product was actually quite nice. They have a series with different colors corresponding to different ingredients, so I think it would be good to choose one that suits your skin type.

  Cons

  As someone prone to blemishes on the chin, I had managed to keep breakouts at bay for a while with a well-suited skincare routine. However, after using this cream, blemishes reappeared. Thinking it might be a coincidence, I stopped using it until my skin improved, then tried again. I applied it before bed, and the next morning, my chin, cheeks, and forehead were incredibly itchy with numerous blemishes erupting! Remembering the Hwahae app, I checked and found three pore-clogging ingredients. I won't be using this again! Now that I know the ingredients, I'll avoid them in future purchases.

  As one of The Hwahae Testers, I'm sharing my review after using this product for 8 days. I have super sensitive skin that's prone to dehydration and blemishes. First off, the cream's consistency is just right - not too thin or thick, making it easy to apply. It absorbs quickly, which I really appreciate. The hydration level is decent, working well for my combination dehydrated skin. Even when I applied it after squeezing blemishes, there was no burning sensation or irritation at all. It contains ingredients that help repair the damaged skin barrier, and I noticed my complexion looked more balanced the next morning.

  Cons

  The signature floral scent from Mamonde, while not overpowering, makes me question the necessity of added fragrance. As someone with blemish-prone skin, I need to avoid pore-clogging ingredients. Unfortunately, this product contains three such ingredients, which is quite disappointing. When used alone, I found it slightly lacking in hydration after waking up. The price point also feels a bit high for what it offers.

  Tip

  For best results, apply a hydrating essence before the cream, or mix in a couple of drops of face oil like jojoba when using. This will help address any hydration deficits and make the moisturizing effects last longer. It's better to apply a thin layer rather than slathering it on thickly like you might with a water cream.

  * My skin type: Oily T-zone, slightly dry U-zone * Texture: Firm and rich like solid wax (but not overly thick) * Absorption: Excellent absorption for summer - it absorbs incredibly fast (though this might be due to its lower hydration level) * Scent: Subtle floral fragrance - When used with Witch Cica Toner, Witch Cica Serum, and Mamonde Probiotics: While the Witch toner and serum line have a slightly oily feel that can seem a bit heavy, I didn't feel dry when I woke up the next morning. - When used with Dokdo Toner, Dokdo Ampoule, and Mamonde Probiotics: I recommend this combination. Since the Mamonde Probiotics only provides moisturization, applying a light hydrating toner and hydrating ampoule (layered twice) before the cream worked really well for me personally.

  Cons

  - Those with extremely oily skin might find it feels heavy (unfortunately, it contains some pore-clogging ingredients). This may be why I got a few small blemishes. - Contains one less-than-ideal ingredient. - The price is a bit on the high side...

  Tip

  It works great when used with a hydrating toner, hydrating ampoule, and soothing gel! I'd recommend this more for those with dry skin rather than oily skin types.

  I love that it comes in a tube - so convenient! The cream-like texture applies smoothly, which is fantastic. It's perfect for nighttime use, not too heavy at all.
