The color develops naturally after applying and waiting a bit. It's a great shade for a bare-faced look. Suitable for daily wear regardless of warm or cool undertones (I have a cool undertone myself). The staying power is a bit disappointing. The color payoff varies depending on your natural lip color, and it might not show up well if you have darker lips. These days, I often use it for a bare-faced look due to mask-wearing. When I'm doing a full face of makeup, I like to pair it with Amuse Flower Market colors! - be********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRednessDead Skin CellsAug 4, 2021
I love the thin and moisturizing texture of this lip product! It's hard to find a lightweight lip tint without stickiness among drugstore brands, so I'd say this product really excels in terms of its formula. This is the first lip product that's caused darkening for me. As someone with a deep undertone to soft spring complexion, I expected a clear, refreshing lip like YSL Water Stain. But over time, it became dull and made my skin tone look much darker. I bought the peach shade thinking it would be bright and delicate, with a fresh, vibrant spring feel. But it's not like that at all. It's muted and dreary. I never use it now - it's become a drawer dweller. La Vie en Coral is too vivid to use alone, and this one turns dull over time. Is this normal? I still mix peach and La Vie en Coral to get my money's worth, but the staining isn't pretty. It's really dull. By 'unattractive staining', I mean that even after removing the lip product, there's an unappealing dark stain left until the next morning due to its long-lasting tint. Sigh. This affects the next lip color I apply. With my lips toned down and looking dull, nothing I put on afterwards looks good. Really. Even with other matte or moisturizing lip products. Maybe I notice it more because I prefer very thin formulas. While I like the texture, I definitely won't repurchase because of how it darkens over time. I'd rather splurge on YSL Water Stain... oh, but YSL 605 has been discontinued. - ge****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessJun 28, 2021
Stunning design Breathtaking colors that evoke powerful emotions Perfect Japanese-inspired subtle sheen Delightful peach scent (personal preference) Discoloration, oh no! Always store at room temperature in a shaded area. Even one day of direct sunlight can significantly increase the risk of discoloration! Store in a shaded area to prevent discoloration. The formula isn't particularly stable - ry*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 15, 2021
It has a luxurious, dewy color payoff. The watercolor-like tint lasts longer than expected. I love the peachy scent. It gives an elegant, calm, and pure look. It's beautifully hydrating for summer wear. However, it's definitely a water tint, so the longevity is a bit disappointing. The color looks pretty right after application, but you'll need to reapply often. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 4, 2021
The subtle color payoff is delightfully understated and sophisticated. A pleasant, dewy moisture barrier forms on the lips, and it's truly impressive that the color doesn't transfer onto masks. Due to the pandemic, I had to give up my beloved glosses and constantly wore drying matte and mousse formulas that left my lips chapped. Thanks to this, I can now wear the lip product I actually want. Highly recommended for working professionals! There's nothing particularly bad about it, but it might not suit those who prefer bold, vibrant colors. Rather than rubbing off, the color fades naturally over time. - mi******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedMay 28, 2021
- The color truly reminds me of a peach. It's a shade that would suit both warm and cool skin tones. - A subtle grapefruit scent. - The transparent case is absolutely gorgeous. - Moisturizing lip product. - The applicator has a hole in the center. - Nude and translucent formula. - At 20,000 KRW, it's on the pricier side. - The color payoff is not very strong. - The ingredients aren't particularly impressive. - ad****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 19, 2021
It's similar to the Rom&nd Glasting Water Tint - if you don't dab it on, you'll get that gorgeous Inner Glow effect! I thought the color would be too light, but it actually showed up quite rosy on my lips. If you're worried about the shade being too subtle, don't be - go ahead and make that purchase! The color is a super juicy peach that would suit anyone... It's just so pure and natural-looking! It wasn't as pink as I expected, more of a nude pink-coral, but with a slight yellow undertone. It's so pretty that I keep applying it even when I'm alone at home! The hydrating formula means you don't need to use lip balm underneath, and it doesn't accentuate dead skin cells. Oh, and it tastes amazing! It can be a bit tricky to wear under a mask in summer, but that's unavoidable. However, while it transfers a bit of the glow, the color itself doesn't smudge much thanks to its good staining power! When I apply this at home without any lip balm, I just feel prettier somehow... It gives me that kind of feeling... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 17, 2021
Before applying, I swatched it on my wrist and the color appeared just as it does in the case - a slightly toned-down coral with a dewy, soft finish. Whether you apply a little or a lot, it gives an even color without any patchiness. With proper amount control, it seems like it would be incredibly easy and pleasant to use. On the lips, since my natural lip color is a bit dark, it leans more pink than coral, creating a vibrant and lively look. It's perfect for those who find traditional water tints overwhelming or are trying them for the first time. You can apply it easily without any streaking. Plus, it doesn't transfer much onto masks, which is great. The texture is smooth without any stickiness. It's definitely a product I find myself reaching for often! The color payoff isn't particularly intense, so those looking for a bold, pigmented look might be disappointed. While it's beautiful on its own, I tried layering it over a coral base and found it created an even more delicate and fresh appearance. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 12, 2021
The staining effect is more noticeable than expected. After application, the color intensifies over time. The product itself isn't overly pigmented, and its formula allows your natural lip color to show through, so the final shade may vary slightly depending on your lip tone. On my lips, it tends to appear somewhat reddish. It's incredibly hydrating and doesn't create that yogurt-like residue. Surprisingly, if you let it set for a bit, there's hardly any transfer. I also love applying it on my cheeks and around my eyes for a natural, healthy-looking flush - it's absolutely gorgeous! There aren't really any downsides, but I should mention that some photos on the website make it look like a water-tint, which it isn't. This product doesn't create that thin film-like coating typical of water tints. Just be careful when applying as the formula is quite runny and may splatter if you're not cautious. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 27, 2021
As someone who used to only wear matte lipsticks because I disliked the shine and hair-sticking issues, I've found myself seeking more moisturizing options as my naturally thin lips seem to be getting thinner and drier with age. This product exceeded my expectations. It applies smoothly with hydration, yet isn't sticky. It provides just the right amount of moisture without an annoying shine. The texture actually makes my lips look more vibrant. The color is beautiful too - it's not a 'look at my lipstick!' effect, but more of a 'this is my natural lip color' vibe. It gives a healthy, pretty look, similar to how a brightening moisturizer works for your complexion. Perfect for that 'no-makeup' makeup look. It also doesn't transfer much onto masks. If all moisturizing lip products were like this, they'd be suitable for both summer and winter. I'm sticking with this one. This was my first Amuse purchase, and I'm really satisfied. There aren't really any negatives, but if I had to nitpick, the applicator feels slightly stiff when pulling it out. I think it's designed that way for better product control. It dispenses just the right amount without excess on the opening, which I've come to see as a plus rather than a drawback. Other than that, there's really nothing negative to say.
