Shade 17 'Drunken Brick' is a color that warm-toned individuals will likely adore. It's a deep, brick-red hue that can be applied boldly for an intense color payoff, or blended out for a more subtle look. Either way, the color remains quite vibrant! I tried dabbing it just in the center of my lips and blending outwards. The velvety texture is both soft and smooth, making it easy to blend. It adheres to the lips incredibly lightly, and even with minimal application, it creates a striking lip look. When applied as a full lip, the color is truly eye-catching! Personally, I prefer to wear it as a gradient for a less intense effect. The soft velvet formula doesn't excessively dry out the lips or emphasize dead skin cells, so it's a decent lip tint as long as your lips are in good condition. This tint does tend to transfer quite easily. When applied as a full lip, it can make your lips look extremely vivid, which might be overwhelming for some. Unfortunately, this tint has been discontinued. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 30, 2021
My lips naturally have a strong pink undertone, so this applies as a pinkish brick shade. It's a lip color that even cool-toned folks can wear beautifully without looking washed out. Much more hydrating and less drying than Peripera's velvet tints. The adherence is slightly lacking. You need to blend it carefully with your fingers. It transfers a bit and applies quite generously, so controlling the amount is crucial.
