I heard vitamin E products have antioxidant effects, so I decided to give it a try. When I applied it to my face, the finish felt too slippery. Thinking my neck was aging too, I figured I'd use it there instead. Unfortunately, it caused severe blemishes. I'm not sure if I had a reaction to a specific ingredient, but the areas where I applied it became itchy, and small red bumps appeared. This is the first product that's ever given me body blemishes, so I'm disappointed with everything about it. I have combination dehydrated skin, blemishes, and super sensitive skin. This is my holy grail serum. The price is fantastic too. The product has low oil content but is rich in hydration. In my case, when I apply it before bed, I can feel my skin balancing out the next morning. Usually, when I wake up, my skin is excessively oily and I often find new blemishes, but since using this product, my breakouts have significantly reduced. I've tried the famous brown bottle too, but it was a bit too rich for me, leaving my skin quite oily in the morning. There weren't any downsides for me. I even found the scent pleasant. The price is great too. The entire La Porte Celle product line is excellent. It has a subtle floral scent and a light, milky emulsion-like texture. Despite containing natural oils, it applies smoothly without feeling heavy, leaving a light and fresh finish. When applied, it gives the skin a subtle glow, making it look more vibrant. Even with its lightweight formula, it provides decent hydration. In hot summer weather like now, layering it two or three times might be enough to skip cream even for dry skin. I'm using it together with vitamin C since vitamin E is said to work well with it. I recommend this as a versatile essence for daily use! The dropper doesn't fill up completely. As I tend to apply essence generously, I found it a bit inconvenient having to use it multiple times. Unlike other cosmetics, this has a relatively short shelf life of 6 months after opening. Keep that in mind.

The strong rose scent might be polarizing. It stings a bit on areas where acne has been extracted. After checking the ingredients on Hwahae, everything looks good except for the fragrance, which I suspect might be the issue! As someone with dry skin, I can feel it absorbs well and really hydrates my complexion. The only downside is that the amount is a bit small, but other than that, I have no complaints. I've found it works even better when used with galvanic massage.
