I loved the velvety texture with its unique powder-like feel. It's lightweight and applies smoothly without the typical oily sensation. True to its name, it blends effortlessly even with a quick application. Despite its matte formula, it's easy to apply. The minimal staining actually makes touch-ups a breeze. The color is a nicely saturated coral-beige with yellow undertones. It works well as a base and looks great on its own without appearing unnatural. The velvety texture can emphasize dead skin cells if your lips aren't in the best condition. Also, it doesn't have the best staying power. You'll need to reapply after eating, and it does transfer quite a bit.

I absolutely love that it's not too deep, making it wearable even on its own without being overwhelming! The chocolate scent made it even more delightful. Given its velvet formula, it tends to accentuate any imperfections when your lips aren't in the best condition. For a more beautiful application, it's better to blend with your fingers, a lip brush, or an applicator rather than using the doe-foot applicator that comes with it.
