1. No blemishes appeared I have super sensitive skin and was worried since even products with gentle ingredients have caused reactions before. But wow!! No blemishes appeared and it was fine even when reapplied! 2. Decent coverage despite gentle ingredients 3. Not sticky at all 1. The fragrance Oh no...it smells exactly like that old Etude xxx Pearl BB cream from back in the day. Even though I don't have a sensitive nose, the scent is really bothersome. It would be one thing if you only noticed it when applying, but the fragrance is irritating right up until you remove it. 2. Application method Instead of dabbing the cushion with a puff, you press a plate to dispense the product through holes and then apply it with the puff. I usually wipe the puff contact area with an alcohol pad after each use, but with this one it's awkward to clean the plate with all the holes. I'm not satisfied with the application feel or hygiene. 3. Price Even the refill is expensive... I guess we put up with it because the ingredients are gentle. 4. Accessibility Ah, it would be so much more convenient if it was available at Olive Young, Lohb's, etc. None - sc*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 8, 2019
I have combination dehydrated skin. My pores are on the larger side, and by afternoon, no matter what product I used, my makeup would always break down. But this one's a game-changer! I've tried everything from MAC, Bobbi Brown, Armani, Tom Ford, Sum37, to Hera, and I had settled on Tom Ford foundation for quite a while. After trying Hwamisa's scalp toner and loving it, I started exploring other Hwamisa products. Out of curiosity, I requested a sample of this foundation. I fell in love with the color match, and there's no darkening. It's on the matte side, perfect for summer, so I ordered the full-size product. Even on days when I work out after applying makeup in the morning, it still looks natural in the evening. Of course, it fades a bit, but my face doesn't look patchy. Perhaps due to its good ingredients, I don't get that feeling of my skin 'rotting' (?) like I do with some heavy makeup. I'm thoroughly satisfied! The only slight downside is the built-in puff... For hygiene reasons, I'm not a big fan of compact-type products. So, I press to dispense the foundation and then apply it separately. Using this with Hwamisa's primer increases my satisfaction even more. Since it's on the matte side, make sure to hydrate your skin well before application.
