It moisturizes and absorbs quickly, so you can apply it before makeup in the morning without any pilling. I've been avoiding eye creams because my current Atobarrier cream makes my eyes tear up badly when it gets in them. But I had to start using one, and this product doesn't make my eyes water, which is great! I have extremely dry skin, so even when I apply a moisturizing cream, my skin feels dry from the inside after a few hours. This eye cream is the same - after a while, the eye area becomes parched. Also, I checked Hwahae and realized the ingredients aren't as good as I thought. That's disappointing... Maybe it's because I use it with other Bobbi Brown products, but my eye makeup applies really well with this.

1. It has a lovely lemon scent. 2. The texture is rich and creamy. 3. Can be used as a base before applying makeup. 1. Not suitable for sensitive or dry skin types. 2. After using it as an eye base without issues initially, my skin suddenly became sensitive. The next day, upon application, I experienced intense tingling, swollen and red eyes, and pain, leading me to discontinue use. 3. I strongly advise those with super sensitive skin to avoid this product. 4. Reluctant to waste it, I repurposed it as a luxury hand cream. I recommend testing it for a week first. It wasn't sticky at all, but had a creamy texture. Because of that, it didn't feel heavy or suffocating on my skin. Perhaps because I have dry skin, I still felt some tightness...

It has a super hydrating cream base that melts into the skin effortlessly, spreading smoothly. It's the complete opposite of a typical face base. If you struggle with dry under-eyes that make your makeup look flaky, this will be a game-changer as an eye area base - your makeup will adhere beautifully. As expected... the price is a bit of a drawback. The cost per volume is a tad steep... Try using this as a makeup base step under your eyes. Your concealer will blend in seamlessly.
