My skin is dry, and on days when I skimp on skincare, it gets itchy and prone to blemishes. Plus, lately, due to wearing masks, my face has developed even more bumps and texture. I tried the Cica Cream expecting these 3 out of 5 clinically proven effects: *Improvement of irritation from external factors* *Skin soothing effect* *Enhanced deep skin hydration* The texture isn't thick, but it's more substantial than an emulsion. This makes it easy to spread and apply. It doesn't fully absorb, but rather feels like it creates a protective layer, leaving the skin smooth and soft. Despite describing it as a layer, it doesn't feel heavy or suffocating at all. Even when my skin feels dry after cleansing and applying toner, if I squeeze some Cica Cream onto the back of my hand, spread it thinly, and then apply it to my face, it feels like moisture is being locked into my skin. It becomes hydrated and the dryness disappears. I appreciated that the packaging allows you to squeeze out and control the amount, rather than needing a spatula, which feels more hygienic. In conclusion, after using the Cica Cream for 10 days, my blemishes have significantly reduced and my rough skin has become smoother. I'm considering purchasing it with my own money next time!
ConsRather than being unscented, it has a slight medicinal or ointment-like scent. For those with extremely dry skin, this Cica Cream might not provide enough hydration during the harsh winter months.
TipIt works well if you squeeze it onto the back of your hand, spread it thinly, and then apply a thin layer to your face.

Smooth skin texture This cream makes my skin texture incredibly smooth. With the changing weather and temperature fluctuations, my skin was feeling rough, but this has really helped. I think it might have even helped calm some redness, though that could be my imagination. 2. Calms dead skin cells It's visibly clear that it helps calm dead skin cells. My makeup applies better too. I've been using it regularly lately and loving it. 3. Blemishes I haven't experienced any blemishes since I started using this product. Even though I have super sensitive skin that reacts poorly to Physiogel with redness and itching, I had no such issues with this cream. 4. Stickiness and richness Despite being a cream with some oil content, I was worried it might cause my makeup to pill, but it didn't at all. In fact, it helped my makeup adhere better. I love applying it generously at night, and in the morning my skin feels silky smooth during cleansing. 5. Application It goes on thick but spreads easily. I find the perfect balance when I use a watery toner first, then follow up with this cream. I wish they'd make the bottle bigger - I love it so much!
ConsThe scent is almost fragrance-free, but there's a slight medicinal smell. It's not bothersome though, and I'd much prefer this over a strong fragrance.
