The only real advantage is its good value for money, given the large size and low price. The pump head is flimsy and breaks easily. I had to stop using it because I kept getting blemishes every time I washed my face. I thought it might be leftover makeup, so I tried to cleanse more thoroughly, but the problem persisted. - du*********Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 9, 2025
I've gone through at least 6 bottles - it's a staple in my routine. It's pleasantly lightweight yet effective at removing sebum and blackheads. I pay extra attention when rolling it on my nose and T-zone. The most crucial step is emulsification. I apply sunscreen daily, and cleansing milks just don't cut it for removing mineral sunscreens, so I always come back to this oil cleanser. Please don't go out of business, Missha! There's nothing I dislike about it. Just be careful not to get it in your eyes. For those with dry skin, it might be good to alternate with an oil cleanser formulated for dry skin types. Here's the key: Wash your hands before cleansing, dry them, then apply the oil and massage thoroughly. Focus on emulsifying properly. That's all there is to it! - yw****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinJan 14, 2025
The cleansing effectiveness is truly impressive. It's great at removing sebum particles. Being quite fluid, it seems to cause less irritation when cleansing. Oddly enough, I've been getting blemishes after using this. Not recommended for acne-prone skin. - lu********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 5, 2024
I have combination skin, blackheads, whiteheads, uneven texture, and acne. My U-zone is perfect in summer but dry in winter. I have a warm undertone. Cleansing effectiveness: ⭐⭐⭐ It removes most things, but some stubborn makeup remains. Might need to use with another cleanser. Blemishes: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Doesn't cause any Texture: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Clear gel-like consistency Scent: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I find the fragrance quite nice! It's somewhat lemony and fresh. The scent won't prevent anyone from using it. Blackheads: ⭐⭐⭐ I don't feel it particularly removes blackheads, but after use, my nose feels super smooth. This smoothness lasts about a day. Maybe it's slightly dissolving the blackheads? I'm satisfied with how smooth it makes my nose feel. Cleansing power: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It seems to clean well. I notice a lot of foundation coming off when removing face makeup. It also removes eye makeup and contouring effectively. Formula: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ To me, it feels very water-like and flows easily. I don't like overly oily textures, so I appreciate this watery consistency. Sensitivity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My skin isn't particularly sensitive, but I didn't experience any pain or breakouts from using this. Application feel: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ When massaging it on the face, it feels oily - just like a typical oil cleanser. As you continue massaging, it feels like the oil is being absorbed into the skin. Overall, the application experience isn't bad. Milia & Acne: ⭐⭐ While using an oil cleanser won't necessarily clear acne, I'll mention it anyway. I didn't see any effect on acne. It neither improved nor worsened my breakouts. 1. After rinsing with water, there's still a lingering oily feeling. I dislike that oily finish, so I'm listing it as a con. 2. Despite being called 'Blackhead Off', I didn't feel it particularly removed blackheads. However, I've only used it for a month, so that might be why. Hmm... I can't think of any other downsides. - ap*********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedOct 19, 2024
I switched from a cleansing foam to this oil for pore care, and I love that there's no tight feeling after cleansing. With the first cheap cleansing oil I tried, I wasn't sure if it was actually removing my makeup, but this one seems to cleanse effectively! The lemon or citrus scent? I liked it, but those who dislike such fragrances might want to take that into consideration. - nn*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 15, 2024
It's great for everyday use. Removes makeup effectively and emulsifies well. There's nothing bad to say. Really, nothing at all. But since I'm forced to write something... When you take it on trips, it might leak and make a mess in your bag. - wl*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedAug 31, 2024
For combination dehydrated skin, I haven't found a better cleansing oil for removing sebum from the nose. I don't use it daily since I don't wear heavy makeup, but I apply it occasionally when the butterfly zone of my face feels rough. It's incredibly effective at removing sebum and small bumps. Rather than pointing out drawbacks of this product, I'd say it's important to emulsify the oil well and always follow up with a cleansing foam to avoid potential blemishes from improper oil cleansing. - su********Oily SkinJul 28, 2024
It emulsifies better than other oils I've tried. I didn't feel any residue even without double cleansing. I experienced a lot of eye irritation while cleansing, and my face felt itchy. I also developed some blemishes. Overall, I was quite satisfied with how it felt to use, but it seems my skin doesn't agree with it. - vi**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 21, 2024
My nose is prone to blackheads and excess sebum. I've been managing it with cleansing oils, and after trying various products, this one is the best by far. Just apply it to your nose, massage gently a few times, and the gunk comes right out. It's also great at removing makeup. I highly recommend it! While Manyo Factory's oil is on the thicker side, this product is very thin in consistency. You need to be careful when using it around the eye area as it might seep in. If you find this product a bit harsh, Missha also has a cleansing oil in a green bottle. It seems to be from the same or a similar line. The formula is pretty much identical, but it's a bit gentler. While it may not dramatically remove blackheads like this one, it's still effective and has good cleansing power. - ys********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedApr 5, 2024
Removes makeup gently without irritation. The lightweight formula applies smoothly. It can sting a bit if it gets in your eyes. A second cleanse is necessary.
