I was a bit concerned since Ryo is known for herbal shampoos, but the fragrance was subtle and pleasant! The dispenser is perfectly designed, releasing just the right amount of product. It's so frustrating when dispensers either give too much or too little, but this one is spot-on. I really appreciated that. Plus, the round nozzle felt refreshing when I used it to massage my scalp. While I didn't notice dramatic improvements in hair loss prevention or scalp protection in just a week, I'm happy to report that I didn't experience any blemishes or burning sensations!
ConsSigh... I should mention that I have an extremely oily scalp and typically wash my hair in the morning. Results might differ for those who wash at night. My biggest disappointment was how it made my hair clump together. It's hard to capture in photos, but if you look closely, you can see how the strands stick together right after shampooing, during blow-drying, and even after. It also made my hair feel a bit stiff, and since I focused on my crown, the oiliness seemed to travel down to my bangs, which was really disappointing. I'm not sure if it's because I massaged too vigorously, but I experienced some itchiness too. A week of use feels too short to fully evaluate its effectiveness. Like many products, there were no dramatic results.
TipIf your hair feels too clumped together after drying, try rubbing the strands together as you would when towel-drying. This should help separate the clumps!
