Let me start by describing my skin type! I have combination dehydrated skin with oily areas on my nose and lots of small blemishes. I initially received this product from my mom and was hesitant to use it due to the packaging. However, curiosity got the better of me, and wow... I think this might be the best cushion I've ever used! It suits my combination skin perfectly. Oh! And I must rave about the puff>< It has a cooling effect when you touch it, and it's so thin that it pairs beautifully with the cushion. It's also incredibly bouncy. To test its coverage, I drew on my face with an eyebrow pencil and then applied the cushion over it - it covered everything amazingly well! The formula is super hydrating and adheres to the skin quickly. I tend to sweat a lot and do intense workouts, so I tried this product during exercise. Despite its dewy and moisturizing formula, I was worried about transfer. But when I applied some no-sebum powder before working out, there was minimal transfer, and even with my face rubbing against my clothes, there were hardly any marks left behind. I love it! The case is a bit disappointing! It lacks a sophisticated look for taking out in public. Also, this cushion uses a tension net, which seems to stretch more and more as you press it. If you love an intense Inner Glow, I'd recommend layering your skincare products thoroughly beforehand. The level of glow you achieve really depends on how well you prep your skin! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 19, 2019
The mesh net allows for even application. I used the Fair shade, and it didn't darken on my skin. The color stayed true, but what impressed me most was its incredible adherence! I didn't even use foundation or primer - just applied it over my basic skincare routine when I was feeling lazy, and it still gave great coverage! I vaguely remember something about the brand being created by a lighting director, which explains why it's so good for complexion... though the details escape me. I think other people might struggle to find this brand. While I find it decent, my friend mentioned it applies a bit thick. Since it has a mesh net, you should be able to control the amount by adjusting how much pressure you use. Apply it thinly! Even a light layer provides good coverage and adheres well to the skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 4, 2019
I received this as a gift and was worried about using it due to my extremely dry skin. Seeing it was a Korean Kolmar product, I hesitantly opened it, but it turned out better than expected! I have quite a few freckles and blemishes, but the coverage was pretty good. When applied over a well-prepped base, it didn't emphasize dead skin cells or cause dryness throughout the day. It even finished smoothly during winter, so I used it consistently from last fall through winter. I usually wear shade 21, but this one has a strong yellow undertone, making my face look a bit sallow when applied... I have cool-toned skin, and with this on, even coral lipsticks look decent on me, if you can believe it! The ingredients aren't particularly skin-friendly either - those with super sensitive skin might want to check the ingredient list. However, for my extremely dry skin, it worked fine without causing any blemishes! If only the shade wasn't an issue, I'd consider repurchasing. Such a shame! - ke*****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 27, 2018
I'm a guy with oily skin and quite a few acne scars. 1. Coverage The coverage is better than I expected. I used to layer foundation over my cheek acne scars, but now I can just use this alone when I'm in a rush. It's much less likely to pill or separate around dead skin cells or scabs compared to other base products. 2. Longevity The staying power is pretty decent. My skin gets especially oily in winter, so it does start to break down after 4-5 hours. Still, it lasts longer than most other products I've tried. 3. Cushion Design While it's not a solid formula, but a liquid one, the cushion has a mesh-like structure that allows you to dispense just the right amount. The mesh also prevents dust from getting into the liquid - it just catches on the mesh, which you can clean separately. 4. Skin Finish This is why I keep repurchasing - it gives a really clean, flawless finish. It adheres well to the skin, creating a bright and translucent makeup look. 1. Adherence It doesn't adhere well in winter, possibly due to my heavy skincare routine. Always be mindful that it might transfer onto clothes. 2. Mirror This is common to all cushions, but the leftover liquid on the edges of the built-in puff can smear on the mirror, making it hazy over time. >>Layer it up<< Start with a light application, then use concealer on problem areas, and finally pat on a bit more of the liquid. It blends in so naturally! >>Works well with other base makeup<< It seamlessly integrates with concealers and foundations. >>The built-in puff works best<< I don't recommend using other puffs or applying it wet. - qk********Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesRecommendedDec 22, 2018
I bought this when my skin was in terrible condition. I had previously purchased a foundation without realizing how bad my skin was, which turned out to be a disaster. So, I carefully chose this cushion. Even with my skin in poor shape, this didn't make it look worse. However, it didn't make it look beautiful either. Recently, my skin has improved, so I tried both the failed foundation and this cushion again. It turns out my skin really was in bad condition before! The foundation I thought was a failure now adheres perfectly... This product is just so-so? The staying power isn't long, but it's good for touch-ups. The finish feels semi-matte (powdery). There's no darkening, and it doesn't break down badly. The coverage is average to below average. The coverage is disappointing. If only the coverage was better, I might have considered repurchasing. Overall, considering the price, there seem to be many cushions these days that are cheaper and better. If you have blemishes, make sure to use a concealer. While it doesn't emphasize pores, it doesn't hide them well either, so those with large pores should use a primer. Also, it works best with the included puff. - rl*********Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 14, 2018
I stumbled upon this product at a beauty event and I'm quite satisfied with it. • Coverage: Medium (adequately covers minor blemishes) • Adherence: High (feels like it becomes one with your skin when applied with a puff) • Longevity: Medium-high to High (minimal darkening, doesn't break down unattractively) - It applies lightly and leaves a soft, powdery finish. - Great product for achieving a natural matte look. It's not excessively drying, and even with my dry skin, it's suitable for winter use with proper skincare. For those wanting more hydration, a damp sponge might be better. - The feel is similar to Missha's Tension Pact Perfect Cover. However, unlike the Tension Pact which accentuated smile lines over time, this doesn't emphasize them. The staff mentioned it's made in the same factory as a famous brand, though I can't recall which one. I'd consider repurchasing when it's on sale. The price...
