It's not irritating at all, and it has sugar in it, so the particles are fine. It dissolves quickly too. Even after drying off, my skin doesn't feel dry or dehydrated. I use it for foot care at home as well. For hand care, it's great for managing dead skin cells around the nails rather than the entire hand. Even my nail technician complimented me on it, hehe! I can't use it on the back of my hands due to redness from atopic dermatitis. I mostly use it on my feet. Great for nail and cuticle care!
