The cleansing effectiveness is pretty good! However, since it's mildly acidic, you need to work up quite a bit of lather. <- Thankfully, there's a foam net, which makes it easier to create foam! 2. The scent seems quite strong, haha. This might be a love-it-or-hate-it situation... 3. It rinses out better than shampoo when washing! Regular shampoos take longer to rinse out due to silicone ingredients, but with this, my hair-washing time has decreased, which is great! 4. I'd recommend this more for normal to oily hair types rather than dry! It tends to make hair feel a bit stiff...
ConsUnfortunately, as I have an oily scalp, the beeswax ingredient didn't agree with me and caused some minor blemishes on my scalp. However, thanks to that ingredient, it might be more suitable for those with dry scalp! (Just my opinion.) Also, after using the shampoo bar a few times, it starts to soften... another limitation of bar format.
TipMake sure to let the shampoo bar dry thoroughly after use!

I've tried many sulfate-free shampoos to care for my scalp health. I've used Polygenics, Sidmool, Baobab, and other popular brands, but for oily scalps, low pH and sulfate-free shampoos just didn't cut it. The excess oil would cause scalp buildup, leading to blemishes. When there was buildup, white dead skin cells would appear, making my scalp feel unclean. So I had no choice but to use Mise-en-Scene, but after trying the No Sebum Shampoo Bar, my opinion on low pH products has changed significantly. While it might not last all day, if I wash in the morning, it keeps my hair fresh until 8-9 PM easily. There's a soap scent in my hair, but it's just the right amount. Compared to shampoos like Mise-en-Scene or Elastine, I can't say it's better, but it's not polarizing. It's a typical soap fragrance that leaves you feeling clean after washing. I thought a bar would be inconvenient, but using it with the provided soap net creates a good lather, making it easy to use.
ConsIt only lasts for a day. By evening, there's a slight oiliness that creates a bit of discomfort. I usually try to wash my hair once a day, but when it gets too oily, I end up washing morning and night - it's similar with this shampoo bar. Still, the good points are that I don't have to use regular shampoos from the supermarket, and even with oily hair, I can use a low pH product! That alone is satisfying enough. However, while it feels clean, my scalp still produces oil, so there's no refreshing sensation. When it gets too oily, I plan to alternate with a regular shampoo. My hands are smaller than average for a woman, and the bar is about the size of my palm. Being a bar soap, I'm a bit worried it might get used up faster. I received this as part of the Hwahae Testers program, but for those purchasing, the separate shipping cost makes the price a bit... burdensome! I deducted one star because of the price.
TipIt feels a bit stiff when washing, but as your hair dries, it becomes quite manageable. If you dislike even slight stiffness, rather than using conditioner, try applying a small amount of hair essence before drying. Since it's a bar, make sure to dry it well after use.

The product I used was a no-sebum shampoo bar, perfect for calming my scalp when it was oily, shiny, and prone to redness and irritation. □ Using the included foam net produces a rich lather □ The scent is fairly pleasant (It seems to have a subtle musk fragrance) □ You can confidently verify the pH level before use (It's possible to check with litmus paper)
ConsThis could be considered a drawback of natural shampoos: After rinsing, hair tends to feel stiff and dry. If I had to describe it, it's like touching hair that's been bleached about 3 times...
TipAfter shampooing, try applying a treatment or conditioner, and before drying your hair, lightly apply some hair oil. Finishing with these steps should help reduce the stiffness!
