Although it's a water-based formula, when applied to the hair, it initially feels slightly warming and then a refreshing cooling sensation sets in. The scent... it's quite strong, almost to the point of being felt in the nose as well. 
The cooling sensation kicks in, and the formula then becomes thicker in texture.
As this product has both anti-hair loss and hair conditioning functions, there's not much of an irritating feeling on the scalp. When rinsed off thoroughly, it leaves the hair feeling clean, soft, and refreshed. Since I have some hair loss issues, I was hopeful about the anti-hair loss benefits, and I've noticed that my hair is definitely shedding less since using it, so I'd like to continue using it.
On the first day of using it, a friend even commented that my hair looked magically good.

Using it 2-3 times a week can help maintain your hair nicely!
