I tried a sample I received. Although it's labeled as a brightening serum, I'm not sure about the brightening effect. However, for someone like me with oily skin that doesn't lack hydration, it provided just the right amount of freshness and moisture. It absorbs well and has a nice texture. I was shocked by the price... It's not very hydrating. The subtle rose fragrance is absolutely delightful. The texture seems slightly thicker than a typical serum. With long-term use, I noticed my complexion appeared a bit brighter. As someone with deep dryness, I felt a slight tightness and dryness after application. Although it's a whitening serum, it's so hydrating that even with my dry skin, I was satisfied with how it felt. You can immediately notice your skin becoming clearer and more radiant the next day. True to Chanel's reputation, it has a lovely fragrance and absorbs beautifully! I occasionally get blemishes, so I've been using it intermittently, making it difficult to definitively feel its effects. I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive and prone to redness. My skin is particularly vulnerable to oils, heavy oil-based products, strong vitamin formulations, and alcohol. Pores are my biggest concern. I'm also looking for a sunscreen that won't cause an allergic reaction, as my skin tends to react to most sunscreens. Compared to other Chanel products, I appreciate that this one seems to have fewer allergy-triggering ingredients. I love that it's not too heavy when applied. It absorbs well, and the fragrance is subtle and pleasant. It's not too harsh, which is great. I've noticed a slight brightening effect when I apply it before bed, so I'm planning to use it consistently. I'm in my 30s with dry, thin, and super sensitive skin. I tried a sample and loved it, so I bought the full-size product. I'm using it along with Chanel's brightening moisturizer. The absorption is truly excellent, and you can really feel how fine the particles are. I'm very satisfied with Chanel's signature scent and glow when I wake up in the morning. Even when I don't have time to wash my face while getting the kids ready for school, I look like someone with naturally good skin thanks to the Inner Glow - it's a game-changer! I'm using it with the brightening moisturizer, and I won't let this combo go. The price is wicked. No larger size option available. I received a sample, though I can't recall exactly when. There seem to be two products with the same name, but the pre-renewal version had questionable ingredients, while the newer one appears to be much better. Please keep this in mind when considering my review. Although it's not visible in the photo, the cream has a light pink hue! 1. It has a cooling effect that noticeably lowers skin temperature - perfect for summer use! 2. I love how smoothly it absorbs into the skin! 3. While I'm not sure about its ability to even skin tone, it absorbs exceptionally well, which is fantastic. 4. The fragrance is somewhat strong, but not to the point of being unpleasant. 1. The luxurious Chanel fragrance lifts my mood every time I apply it. It's not a thick, concentrated serum, but rather a lightweight formula that absorbs well and feels refreshing on the skin. Apart from the high-end Chanel scent, it's just average. Considering the ingredients and price, I'm unsure about repurchasing. It moisturizes and brightens my complexion beautifully. With my extremely dry skin, I always prioritize hydration. This serum exceeded my expectations in that regard. What's more, it gives such a lovely glow that I don't even need to use a separate highlighter. As expected, Chanel makeup truly excels at creating that gorgeous luminous finish. There's not really anything bad to say... I bought it thinking it was a makeup base, but it turned out to be a serum. Since it's a brightening serum, I shouldn't expect too much coverage. However, it does make my skin texture look better, so that's a plus. It looks beautiful even when applied over makeup. It's like magic how it doesn't create any pilling!

While I'm not as satisfied now as I was then, possibly due to changes in my skin condition, it's still worth using. There's no allergic reaction, and I feel like it's slightly improving my complexion. Personally, I'm not a fan of scented products, so that aspect is a bit disappointing. However, the fragrance itself is pleasant. While this product isn't drying on its own, if you have very dry skin, you might want to add extra hydration. I'm currently using the Le Blanc line's essence emulsion and cream as well. For the emulsion, I apply it to my face and cup my hands over it for a while to boost hydration. There's definitely a noticeable difference! Since the cream lacks moisture, it's essential to use a hydrating moisturizer alongside it if you have dry skin.
