  Pros

  It's nice that it's not too rich. The absorption is decent, and there's hardly any scent to it.

  Cons

  Well, I bought this because my skin was having blemishes and became super sensitive, but it didn't help and seemed to make things worse. At first, it felt moisturizing, but then the oil seemed to sit on top of my skin. Also, the amount is small - it's smaller than a pair of glasses. Most importantly, no matter how I apply it, it always pills. This is its biggest drawback. I won't be repurchasing, unfortunately.

  It absorbs well and quickly. The tube packaging is convenient.

  Cons

  I didn't find it exceptionally impressive. Despite how well it applies, it leaves an oily residue on the skin after absorption.

  It absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling hydrated. I trust and use the entire mung bean line because it's gentle and non-irritating.

  The lasting power is disappointing as it dries out quickly. The absorption feels somewhat superficial, and when I use this in the morning, my skin feels dry by the afternoon, causing itchiness on my cheeks.

  I tried this because I loved the mung bean foam cleanser, and it seems really gentle on my skin

  Before diving into the review, I'd like to mention that this is a Hwahae Testers review. After trying the Mung Bean Balancing Cream, I noticed that even a small amount was enough to banish dryness, probably due to its balanced oil and moisture pH. Personally, my skin tends to feel tight and dry right after using a cleansing foam and patting it dry. However, applying this product immediately after cleansing eliminated that tightness and kept my skin feeling moisturized. When I wanted a hydrated makeup look, I applied this during my skincare routine before makeup, and it resulted in a more dewy finish. I also appreciated that its emulsion-like texture comes in a mini size, making it perfect for touch-ups when my makeup starts to look patchy.

  Cons

  Unfortunately, about three days after I started using it, I began to develop some blemishes. I'm not sure if it's because of my sensitive skin, but it didn't seem to agree with my complexion. When I initially applied too much, it didn't absorb well into my skin. Even after a night, it felt like it was just sitting on the surface. I'd recommend using just the right amount. I also thought that this might make oily skin types look even shinier.

  Tip

  Try squeezing out an amount about the size of a dime onto your palm and rub your hands together! This will distribute the product evenly across your palms, and the warmth generated from rubbing will help it absorb better into your skin.
