I haven't tried the full-size Armani foundation yet, but I've sampled it several times. It's the first product that left me feeling disappointed... The pros are its nice ivory tone, hydrating feel, and the glow it gives. To be honest, I don't like the color from the start. Compared to Power Fabric in shade 1.5, it looks much lighter, but when applied, it's not significantly brighter - just a slight difference between pink and yellow undertones. I'm cool-toned and usually use pink-based foundations, but I occasionally use yellow-based ones for a brighter look. However, this lacks that brightening effect. I'm sure it works well for some people, but their color numbering system is completely confusing to me. It slightly emphasizes pores and breaks down more noticeably than any other Armani foundation I've tried. While it's not terrible, considering it's Armani and the price point, it's disappointing. I've also sampled the Designer Lift before they added the blue line, and this new one is worse. Why even bother with a reformulation if it's not an improvement? If the newly reformulated Designer Glow is similar, my expectations are really dropping. - so********Combination SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedSep 4, 2024
The skin finish and color are beautiful, and it's lightweight with excellent adherence. After using it, I noticed a few small blemishes appearing. I'm not sure if it's because of this product though. - de*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessRecommendedJun 6, 2024
I've tried a sample before, and it didn't cause any issues with my sensitive skin, so I bought the full size and I'm using it well. I think... I'll probably keep using it. First off, my skin is pale with yellow undertones, but since it's sensitive, I also have a lot of redness. So pink-based products tend to make me look even redder as time goes on, and yellow-based ones make me look... a bit dull. I was looking for an ivory-based product, and this was perfect for me! It's not drying at all, which I really love. Has this been discontinued? I'm almost out and it's such a shame. - he*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 26, 2024
This is being discontinued? Why?... So sad! The color is truly a universally lovable ivory-toned foundation! While it's a sheer foundation with no coverage, the ivory hue is really beautiful. It creates that clear, bright complexion everyone desires. Even though I'm a shade 22 wanting a brighter but not too light complexion, shades 1, 1.5, and 1.75 all match beautifully. I also use it mixed with darker foundations to enhance their color. The staying power is surprisingly good. When set with powder, it adheres quite well to the skin. There's almost no coverage. It won't conceal acne scars or hyperpigmentation, so if you want coverage, a concealer is a must. Being sheer, it also shows some skin texture. You'll need to layer concealer or other cushions/foundations for additional coverage! - 6v********Dry SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 29, 2024
Absorbs well with a thin, hydrating layer. The color is beautiful. While it may slightly emphasize dead skin cells, if you have a solid skincare routine, it's not noticeable. Feels worth the price. The coverage seems minimal. It might slightly accentuate dead skin cells. However, if you don't have blemishes or use a separate concealer, it's fine. The issue with dead skin cells can be mitigated with a thorough skincare routine. - pe**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 23, 2024
It has zero coverage, but the way it enhances my complexion is insane, so I just keep using it. The shade is also super pretty. The coverage is disappointing... It doesn't cover anything at all. A concealer is absolutely necessary. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 7, 2024
It applies beautifully and has a lovely ivory shade that's absolutely gorgeous It tends to pill and gets stuck in pores, unfortunately - aa***Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 26, 2024
I finally found a foundation that matches my skin tone perfectly. I switched to this after using Ultra Le Teint, as I wasn't quite satisfied with its color. I bought this because a YouTuber raved about it, but when I use it alone, my makeup tends to smudge... While it might be due to my lack of skill, I've found that Chanel's Ultra Le Teint is superior in covering up even my amateur application. - dh*******Combination SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedFeb 15, 2024
I love how the color brightens up my complexion. It has a matte finish, which is perfect for oily skin types. The matte texture isn't great for dry skin. The price is a bit steep. - wl*****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 25, 2024
I use shade 19. It gives me a bright and radiant complexion. The blemish coverage is medium to medium-high. It covers pores well. Even with my combination-oily skin, it applies smoothly with a moist, firm texture. I think shade 1.5 would have suited me well too. It doesn't darken my skin, but rather blends beautifully with my natural complexion for an elegant look. The staying power lasts all day. Some oil does come through in the T-zone, but that's because of my combination-oily skin type. It's extremely expensive. The only drawback is the price. It's really pricey.
