It absorbs well, leaving my skin feeling moisturized and deeply nourished.
ConsI can't really tell if there's any brightening effect. I'm writing this review after finishing the entire 20ml bottle. While I saw results with their soothing ampoule, this one is a bit disappointing.

Personally, I enjoyed the fragrance, which is quite unique for a skincare product.
ConsI didn't really notice any secondary benefits like brightening effects.

With its generous amount and moisturizing effect, I applied it liberally and patted it in for absorption. Even during this transitional season when my skin tends to be dry, I hardly felt any dryness. I believe the brightening effect comes from the intense hydration, which naturally improves the complexion.
ConsThere wasn't anything particularly disappointing. It's difficult to see dramatic brightening results in just two weeks. If such a product existed at this price point, it would be unbelievable! I'll use it for about a month and leave a more detailed review later.

I'll make up for the delay with an extra thorough review. My skin type is slightly dry with a complexion between 17-19. Lately, my skin has been acting up. 1. Brightening To be honest, I didn't notice much brightening effect. I applied it twice daily, morning and night, but didn't see significant changes. However, since my skin tone is already fair (17-19), I might not have noticed subtle improvements. Those with naturally lighter skin may not see dramatic brightening results. 2. Pores This seems more effective than expected for pores. I didn't notice much at first, but after 1-2 weeks, I found myself worrying less about pores when applying makeup. You'll need to use it consistently though, as there's no overnight miracle. 3. Hyperpigmentation It didn't help with post-acne marks. But to be fair, most products struggle with this, so it's on par with others. Best not to expect too much in this area. 4. Hydration It's decent for dry skin, but I felt it lacked a bit of moisture in the evenings. Make sure to apply your skincare thoroughly before using this at night. 5. Blemishes As noted on Hwahae, the ingredients are good, and I didn't experience any blemishes. However, keep in mind that my skin isn't very reactive. 6. Scent Loved that it's fragrance-free! 7. Design It's pretty with a clean, pure white look. The dropper could be stronger though - you need to squeeze carefully to fill it completely. 8. Absorption Great! It absorbs well immediately after application. 9. Price While it's a good serum, I'm not sure it's worth 45,000 won...
ConsOverall impression: As a serum, it's quite decent. It doesn't cause blemishes and is generally satisfactory. However, considering it's marketed for pores and brightening, it falls short in everything except pore care. The 45,000 won price tag seems excessive for what it delivers, hence the one-star deduction.
TipFor best results with pores, try applying this first to problem areas, let it dry, then follow with a more hydrating product. Since it's mainly effective for pores, focus on that benefit.

Also, I've been sleep-deprived due to heavy workload. ✅ Milk Thistle Brightening Spa Ampoule benefits: 1. Reduces hyperpigmentation 2. Diminishes dark spots and freckles 3. Enhances skin radiance 4. Improves skin brightness 5. Evens out skin tone 6. Decreases pore size 7. Reduces pore volume 8. Minimizes pore depth 9. Increases elasticity around pores 10. Refines skin texture The ampoule has a water-like consistency with a floral scent that's nostalgic - I can't pinpoint it exactly, but it's pleasantly reminiscent of childhood. (My opinion differs from others) I didn't experience any discomfort, possibly because I use a small amount. The dropper was convenient to use. Due to its watery texture, it absorbs well into the skin. ✅ Pore-refining effects: Though the trial period was short, I noticed my pores were less visible in the T-zone! While I can't confirm actual reductions in pore size or volume, I observed subtle improvements. As for skin texture improvement... I'm not sure if it's due to lack of sleep, but I experienced more dead skin cells than usual. However, I can't attribute this solely to the ampoule given the environmental factors and short trial period.
Cons❌ Brightening effects: I didn't notice any significant brightening effects while using the ampoule, though this could be due to my lack of sleep. As for evening out skin tone, I didn't see much improvement, but my skin tone was already fairly even to begin with.
TipI think using this with a modeling mask would enhance its effects. I'll continue using it with my regular skincare routine and update if I see better results.

The texture is light and not sticky at all! I'd say it's somewhere between an ampoule and a toner in consistency. It absorbs incredibly fast! Even after applying toner, it showed impressive absorption. However, the hydration level might not be enough for combination/dry skin types if used alone. As someone with combination skin, I used it in a toner-ampoule-cream routine. I have dry skin around my mouth and cheeks (dimple area), with some oiliness in the T-zone. After using a hydrating toner, followed by the 'Milk Thistle Brightening Spa Ampoule', and finishing with a cream, I found the perfect balance of hydration and richness! Despite my sensitivity to some natural ingredients, this product was gentle on both my eczema-prone and blemish-prone areas. Due to my extremely sensitive skin from eczema, I've never been able to try other brightening products. I've always wanted to try popular powder products, but their warnings against sensitive skin use held me back. However, the Milk Thistle Brightening Spa Ampoule has no harsh ingredients, so I decided to give it a shot. I'm thrilled that it didn't cause any irritation, likely due to its gentle formulation! The packaging is great too. The dropper is sturdy, and the twist-open cap seals tightly, giving me peace of mind during use.
ConsBrightening Effect: Since I've only been using the product for about ten days, I haven't noticed a significant brightening effect yet! However, ten days is a short time to improve skin tone, so I plan to continue using it consistently.
TipThe back of the product provides detailed information about its effects and texture. It might be helpful to refer to that!

Feel - Despite its lightweight texture, I was pleasantly surprised by how hydrating it was. Scent - There's a subtle, natural sweet fragrance reminiscent of roses or flowers, which made application enjoyable.
ConsPackaging - The opaque container makes it difficult to see how much product is left. Dropper - The dropper doesn't pick up enough product, so one full dropper isn't sufficient. You need about 1.5 droppers for an adequate amount. Whitening and anti-wrinkle effects - I didn't notice any improvements in brightening or wrinkle reduction, but that might be because I only used it for a week. Price - It seems too expensive to pay full price for.
TipThe lightweight texture and feel make it suitable for spring and summer use. In my case, since my skin doesn't tend to get very dry in winter, I think it would work well for fall and winter too if I layer it twice after toner application.

After application, my skin felt refreshed. Since wearing masks, my skin became sensitive and I often got small blemishes, but during the two weeks I used this product, no such blemishes appeared on my face.
ConsI heard that pore care and brightening were its main functions, but after using it for two weeks, I didn't personally notice these effects. Since the product's texture is close to water, it was a bit lacking in hydration. Therefore, I recommend applying it more than twice.

I've only used it for about a week, so it's hard to tell the full effects of this brightening and pore-refining ampoule. Ideally, I'd need to use it longer, but I'll share my thoughts so far. Ingredients and blemishes: First off, the ingredients are incredibly gentle. There are no harmful components, which made me feel very confident when applying for The Hwahae Testers event. Thanks to these gentle ingredients, I didn't experience any blemishes or irritation while using it. It's definitely a mild product! Texture: It has a very thin consistency! It's slightly more viscous than water, making it easy to apply lightly. It's perfect for summer use as it feels so lightweight on the skin. Application and absorption: Due to its light texture, it applies smoothly without any stickiness. It absorbs quickly into the skin, which is great for absorption. However, because it absorbs so fast, it might lack in hydration, making you feel like you need to apply more. One application isn't quite enough - you might need to layer it twice for that coveted moisturized feeling. Scent: It's fragrance-free! The lack of scent means it won't bother those sensitive to fragrances.
ConsBrightening & Pore care: The most crucial aspect - the brightening effect! Generally, brightening and pore care products don't show immediate results overnight. So, the period I've used it is too short to notice any significant changes. If I happen to feel any improvements by the time I finish the bottle, I'll come back with an update. As of now, I haven't noticed any visible effects, unfortunately. Hydration: The most disappointing aspect of this ampoule is its hydration power. While it's not marketed as a hydrating ampoule, I expected it to provide some level of inner moisture. However, it feels like I've just applied toner - there's no sense of deep hydration. You need to apply it twice to feel like you've actually put something on your skin. It absorbs quickly, but it's almost as if it just disappears without leaving any lasting hydration. Packaging and volume: When I first received it, I was surprised by the size of the bottle. I thought, 'Is this 100ml?' because it looked similar to my 100ml ampoule bottle. But it's actually only 50ml, which was a bit disappointing. Also, the opaque packaging means you can't see how much product is left - you have to rely solely on the dropper and your intuition!
TipThis would be great for light use in summer. Make sure to apply it at least twice, and use it alongside other hydrating skincare products for proper moisture and hydration.

Its lightweight texture absorbs well without feeling sticky. Once it sinks in, my skin feels hydrated, light, and refreshed. Despite my sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes or irritation from this ampoule. Must be thanks to those great ingredients!
ConsThe value for money isn't great. Given the high price, I expected better performance. From the day I received it until the end of the testing period, I didn't notice any dramatic effects. I was hoping for pore improvement more than brightening, but I couldn't tell if there was any difference. Also, the scent is quite peculiar - it's reminiscent of a spicy, pungent smell like drying chili peppers, which was surprising. I got used to it over time, but you still notice it with each application. Since I've only used it for just over a week, I might update my review if I see any changes with continued use.
