This product is excellent for rapidly calming and stabilizing sensitive skin after treatments. It seems ideal for daily use, especially for those with sensitive and dry skin. Despite its rich texture, it's not sticky and provides a deeply nourishing feel. It might be a bit heavy to apply in the current weather. There's a slight richness to it, so I wouldn't recommend it for those who tend to skip skincare in summer. However, it's highly recommended for dry skin types in all seasons except summer. The texture is described as weighty yet non-sticky, offering intense nourishment. It's particularly beneficial for soothing sensitive skin quickly. While it may be too rich for summer use, especially for those with oily skin, it's an excellent choice for dry skin types during cooler months. - se*************Oily SkinSensitive SkinRednessRecommendedJun 14, 2025
Recently, my skin has been super sensitive, so I've been on the hunt for a soothing and barrier-strengthening cream to use before and after treatments. That's when I came across the SVR Cicavit+ Cream. This product contains a whopping 43% Derma Repair Complex, which quickly calms irritated skin and reinforces the skin barrier. What I love most is its cream-to-gel texture - it absorbs instantly, leaving no sticky residue behind. After using it consistently for about a week, I noticed my skin texture becoming smoother and the redness significantly reduced. While it might be a bit rich for summer use, it's perfect for applying before bed after a treatment. I find that gently patting the product into my skin works better for absorption than just spreading it on. - pi******Combination SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresMay 29, 2025
✨Product Concept and Key Points 📌 Shea butter, babassu seed oil, alpha-glucan oligosaccharide, sodium hydroxide 📌 Regenerating cream that improves and soothes damaged skin ✨Positive Aspects 📌 Hydration The intensive moisturizing effect is excellent, keeping the skin hydrated for a long time after use. It would be especially helpful in alleviating deep dryness or inner dehydration during winter or when the skin is very dry. 📌 Level of Irritation I didn't feel any stinging or itchy irritation while using it. Instead, it felt more soothing and softer as my skin became more hydrated. 📌 Effectiveness and Improvement I applied it before bed, and the next morning, I could definitely feel that the redness in my skin had subsided. I also liked the subtle glow on my skin when washing my face. ✨Areas for Improvement 📌 Scent The chemical-like scent, similar to silicone or rubber clay, was a bit uncomfortable. 📌 Application The texture is very thick and heavy, so it might not suit those without extremely dry skin. For me, it was so thick that I had to apply it forcefully, which caused severe irritation and made my face turn red. 📌 Price It's too expensive for the amount you get... The value for money is disappointing. ✨Overall Rating 📌 S Tier (Excellent) A Tier (Very Good) B Tier (Good) C Tier (Average) The tier for SVR Cicavit+ Cream is.... ❗️C Tier (Average)❗️ While it's effective, there are many good alternatives with better value for money. ✨Tip 📌The texture is too thick, so I mixed it with toner, centella extract, or the serum I use in the previous step. This makes it apply more smoothly on the face and seems to improve the moisturizing effect! - bb*********Combination SkinRecommendedMay 27, 2025
I was worried it might feel heavy due to its rich texture, but it's not suffocating at all and its regenerative power is incredible! It helps wounds and scars heal quickly. After using this, I realized that all the other regenerative creams I've used before were just mere moisturizers in comparison. Ha! There's not a single thing I dislike about it. If I had to nitpick, maybe the price...? Haha. - 8c********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 23, 2025
It was great for improving my skin barrier. The next morning after using it, my skin had a beautiful glow when I washed my face. If I had to pick something, the texture was a bit thick at first, so it took some getting used to. For best results, squeeze a small amount onto the back of your hand, then gently spread it with your fingers. Layer it thinly - this way it absorbs well and you can easily apply it with just a small amount. - je*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedFeb 22, 2025
It resolved my deep dryness and significantly reduced my blemishes! While it's a bit rich, I don't have any particular complaints about it yet. - li******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessRecommendedFeb 3, 2025
This cream has become my go-to since being diagnosed with contact dermatitis. I apply Zeroid first, then finish with SVR. By adjusting the amount, it's suitable for use year-round. It leaves a sticky residue, so I wouldn't recommend it if you dislike that feeling. - wh********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 8, 2025
I've been consistently using this cream based on a YouTuber's recommendation, and it's been great for my sensitive skin when many other cosmetics didn't work. I highly recommend it for those with dry skin! Due to its thick consistency and high oil content, I wouldn't recommend this product for those with oily skin! It's best to apply multiple thin layers rather than one thick layer! - aa*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 12, 2024
Conclusion: Highly recommended for extremely dry skin. Definitely worth trying! Reasons: 1. Lightweight application with excellent moisture retention 2. Perfect oil-moisture balance 3. Instant hydration 4. No blemishes (even for sensitive skin) Skin type: Dry to extremely dry, sensitive to certain ingredients (allergic reactions to mineral oil and alcohol, prone to small bumps when using pore-clogging ingredients) I prefer a minimalist skincare routine (3 steps: toner-serum-cream) As my skin seems to get drier each year, I've tried numerous products recommended for extremely dry skin. (To mention just a few finishing creams: Physiogel MD, Atobarrier, Real Barrier Extreme Cream, Huh Bum-chul Cream, Centellian24, Avène, Bioderma, Aestura MD, d'Alba Serum & Cream, La Roche-Posay Cicaplast B5, etc.) However, finding a product that maintains a good oil-moisture balance or provides long-lasting hydration was incredibly challenging. Eventually, I ended up either adding more steps to my skincare routine, or when using La Roche-Posay Cicaplast B5 as a daily finishing cream, I had to mix in a small amount of Vaseline or oil for night care to avoid that tight, stretched feeling the next morning. When winter came, even this method wasn't enough, so after extensive research, I discovered this product. Initially, it feels richer than expected, but it absorbs well and doesn't feel heavy after application. I'd say it has a good oil-moisture balance. Moisture retention was the key factor, so I applied a thick layer of just this product before bed. In the morning, in a space with about 40% humidity, my skin wasn't stretched tight, but felt comfortably smooth. I think it might last for about 6 hours. Unlike similar creams that often leave the skin feeling dry underneath and oily on top, this one doesn't cause any discomfort. Due to my sensitivity issues, I initially bought the 40ml size as a trial, but I plan to purchase the larger size next time. It's not easily accessible in the domestic market (availability issue). Using I'm From Fig Skin Booster Essence as the first step makes the hydration last even longer! - ch******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 24, 2024
As someone with combination dehydrated skin prone to lots of tiny bumps and acne, I was initially worried this might be too heavy. But surprisingly, it didn't cause any cystic breakouts (though I still got some small bumps, mostly due to diet I think). Usually, products that don't suit me cause red pimples, but this one seemed gentle enough to work well! There's something about it that seems to calm my blemishes. Of course, all my skincare is for acne, but when I apply this as the final step, it feels extra soothing - maybe it's the regenerative effect? The esthetician mentioned that because of ingredients like shea butter (which can clog pores), my skin was too dry for easy extractions when I went for facials. This isn't a hydrating type, so it doesn't really provide deep moisture. For about a year, I used only this after my serum in my nighttime routine, and I always had some deep dryness. (But any moisturizer I tried would cause a breakout party, so I just lived with the dryness.) If you have combination dehydrated or oily skin, you absolutely must control the amount! Apply it thinly.
