I first tried Ariul's Lip & Eye Remover Pads and loved their cleansing effectiveness so much that I started using their cleansing oil regularly. When I began to feel lazy about applying the oil to pads, I decided to try their Cleansing Oil Pads. As expected, they were great too! The built-in tweezers inside the lid make it hygienic and easy to take out one pad at a time. What I love most is how large the pads are (bigger than the Lip & Eye Remover pads) - it's so satisfying! Two pads are enough to thoroughly remove lip and eye makeup, as well as heavy face makeup, which is really convenient. All in all, I'm very satisfied with these Cleansing Oil Pads. They're easy to use and remove makeup well without causing blemishes. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a convenient alternative to regular cleansing oil. The texture feels slightly heavier than cleansing water, so after using these pads to remove makeup, I followed up with a second cleanse using either cleansing water or foam cleanser. - wv********Dry SkinRecommendedJan 19, 2023
The pads don't feel overly saturated, which I initially thought might be a problem. However, this actually turns out to be a plus as it prevents oil from getting into your eyes. It even removes mascara cleanly and effectively. I definitely recommend this product! It doesn't sting my eyes! While it's not completely irritation-free, the level of tingling is tolerable and not a major concern. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 18, 2021
I loved that it didn't sting my eyes when removing eye makeup! It's more convenient to use than lip and eye remover and removes makeup effectively. Being an oil-based pad, it seems to leave that characteristic oily feeling on the skin. Its excellent cleansing effectiveness makes it great for the first step of makeup removal. - gp*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 2, 2021
The pads are convenient to use and remove makeup cleanly and effectively. While the pads are easy to use, they can be a bit irritating, so you need to be careful when applying them. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 29, 2021
1. It effectively removes waterproof makeup and all traces of mascara. While it might not come off instantly, gentle rubbing does the trick. 2. The pads are generously soaked in oil, ensuring you have enough product to thoroughly remove your makeup. 3. The pads are on the thicker side, which is a plus! 1. One side of the pad has a textured surface, but I'm not sure what the advantage of this is yet. 2. When doing a double cleanse after using these oil pads, I need to wash multiple times to remove the product. It's hard to tell if my skin just feels moisturized or if the product isn't being properly cleansed off. It works best when used to remove eye and lip makeup specifically, followed by a second cleanse for the rest of your face! - su*****Dry SkinJun 14, 2021
It's convenient for the first cleanse, and I love that it has a rough side and a soft side, making it versatile to use Unfortunately, it's a bit disappointing that the cleansing water doesn't saturate the pad as much as I'd like - jj******Combination SkinRecommendedMay 31, 2021
1. Cleansing effectiveness True to Ariul's reputation for cleansing tissues, this product removes makeup thoroughly! The oil-infused pads effectively remove even waterproof eyeliner and mascara! No need for a separate lip and eye remover - 1-2 pads can clean off all your makeup completely. There's an embossed side and a regular cotton side. I like to use the embossed side for a general makeup removal pass, then the cotton side for detailed cleansing. This method allows for a more thorough cleanse, which I love! 2. Convenience Personally, I find pads more convenient than tissues. Tissues are thin and cover a large area, making them awkward to hold and use. With pads, you can just pick one up and wipe your face like you would with a cotton pad, which I found very handy. 1. Rough pad texture Being oil pads, I expected them to be very moist and soft, but they felt rougher on the skin than anticipated. If you don't wipe gently and instead scrub vigorously like you're applying toner, your skin can quickly become red and irritated. The pads are a bit on the coarse side, and the contents don't seem thoroughly saturated, almost as if they're slightly dry! I wouldn't recommend these for those with super sensitive skin, and if you do use them, I suggest cleansing very gently and carefully! Keep in mind that since the pads are stacked for a long time, the oil that's supposed to saturate them might settle at the bottom. Occasionally flipping the container upside down before use can help you get more moistened cleansing pads! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 29, 2021
It was easy to use and quite pleasant. Being an oil pad, it's not stiff but has a soft, comfortable feel on the skin. There's the inconvenience of needing to double cleanse. It doesn't remove eye makeup very well.
