To be honest, my hair is severely damaged as I dyed it black and then bleached it to lighten it. Over time, it has turned more and more yellow, like a sheep, so I've done a few toning treatments, but it goes back to being yellow again in just a few months~ I bought it based on a recommendation from an acquaintance hairstylist, and I'm satisfied with the shampoo. After seeing a photo taken by someone else that showed my hair was yellow, I tried the color-correcting shampoo, and the effect was this much after just one use, so I'm using it about twice a week now. It's a Taiwanese product.
ConsIf your hands get dyed, the bathroom interior is white-toned, and the towels are white, be prepared to get a slap from your mom.
TipAfter a regular shampoo, squeeze out the moisture well, and apply it almost like a hair dye, then rinse it off. It's good, but the hair won't become soft, so a treatment is essential.

I occasionally dye my hair and maintain the platinum blonde look through bleaching! ๐Color Payoff The color payoff is really amazing. I left it on for about 5 minutes and the color that came out was a diluted lavender tone. After shampooing it a couple of times, the hair color turned out like the one in the photo! If you don't like that ashy purple tone, you can reduce the processing time and it should still work well. ๐Lather The lather is better than expected. After the first shampoo, using the color-correcting shampoo creates a really rich, voluminous lather. The lather is abundant without any unevenness, which is great. ๐Longevity Many people use the color-correcting shampoo every other day, but I use it once a week. Even using it once a week, the ashy tone is maintained well. If you have done an ashy color, this should really help in maintaining it.
ConsEven after thoroughly rinsing the hair with the color-correcting shampoo and drying it, some purple residue comes out when I scratch my scalp...ใ ใ No matter how much I rinse, it seems inevitable. The fragrance is not overpowering or anything, but I find it strangely unpleasant. The lingering scent stays in my hair for a day or two.
TipYou definitely need to wear gloves! If you don't, your hands will turn purple...! I don't like the purple residue that comes out after using the color-correcting shampoo, so I do an extra shampoo after the initial one. I shampoo, then use the color-correcting shampoo and leave it on for 5 minutes, and then shampoo again. This seems to work well for the color payoff.

They said that the less bleached parts of my hair wouldn't take the color well, but surprisingly, it did a great job of catching the yellow tones. The more bleached areas on my scalp became almost completely white after using it about 2 times. At first, I worked up a lather and left it on for about 10 minutes, and the second time, I applied it like hair dye and left it on for 10 minutes, which really helped capture the yellow tones well. The color also didn't turn out too purple, but rather a nice, subtle gray tone. When I first applied it, I was worried it would turn completely gray and dark, but after rinsing, it gently captured the yellow tones while maintaining the lightness. The photos are from the first use - the first one is before, and the second is after. The lower part where I only used the lather seems to have been a bit less effective, but it still looks fine to the eye.
ConsThere weren't really any disappointing aspects - it turned out just as I had hoped.
TipIt seems like letting it sit for a sufficient amount of time is a good idea. Also, making sure to work up a good lather or applying it evenly like hair dye can help the color turn out well.
