Those are the only two good points, period.
ConsIt's only hydrating on the surface while leaving the skin dry underneath. That's why it's not suitable for oily skin.

It's neither too rich nor too matte, making it my go-to purchase at duty-free shops whenever I travel abroad.
ConsIt doesn't absorb instantly upon application, so you might feel it sitting on the skin initially, but it does get absorbed quickly.
TipWhile it doesn't dramatically change your complexion on its own, it works well when used together with a brightening moisturizer.

Since chemical sunscreens lose effectiveness after 30 minutes on hot summer days, I switched to a mineral sunscreen. I loved that it didn't irritate my skin or sting my eyes. It's great for summer - minimal greasiness and all-around good. As it's ocean-safe, I used it at the beach without worry.
ConsWhile mineral sunscreens might all be similar, this one doesn't absorb well and leaves a white cast. You need to be careful with the amount you apply, and it's challenging to pat it in until it's fully absorbed.

Texture (Absorption) ☆☆☆☆ It has a generally smooth application, typical of a standard sunscreen. There's a very slight pink tone-up effect. 2. Skin Reaction (Irritation) ☆☆☆☆☆ My skin type: Sensitive/Blemish-prone As a mineral sunscreen, the ingredients are very gentle. It's an excellent choice for those who find chemical sunscreens irritating, like myself. 3. Effectiveness (UV Protection) ☆☆☆☆☆ Compared to other sunscreens, this one was the most effective in preventing freckles. I used it during summer vacation and didn't tan at all! 4. Packaging ☆☆☆☆ The packaging is a standard tube design. 5. Scent ☆☆☆☆ It has a slightly cool scent. It's not unpleasant, so unless you're particularly sensitive to fragrances, it shouldn't be an issue.
Cons6. Oil-Moisture Balance (Staying Power) ☆☆ My skin type: Severe deep dryness on forehead and cheeks, extremely oily T-zone Being a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't absorb like chemical sunscreens and sits on the skin like a thin film. This is typical for mineral sunscreens, but those with oily skin may find it breaks down with skin oils. I recommend reapplying every 3 hours. 7. Value for Money ☆ It's on the pricier side compared to other mineral sunscreens, but Hwahae often has sales, so it's best to purchase at a discounted price.
TipIf you have oily skin, lightly dusting some powder over the sunscreen can improve its staying power!

Slight brightening effect. Absorbs without stickiness, leaving a semi-matte finish.
ConsThere's a slight excess of oil on the surface that's a bit disappointing. Also, the pink tone-up effect seems to make my skin look redder, which I'm not a fan of.

I was quite pleased with it!
ConsThere was a slight excess of oil on the surface, which was a bit disappointing.

It's not too oily, nor is it too drying. My skin is extremely sensitive, so I've been switching sunscreens quite a few times. Fortunately, both Dewytree's foam cleanser and sunscreen suit me well. While I'll know for sure after using the entire bottle, so far I'm really liking it.
ConsThe price seems a bit high when it's not on sale. Also, it makes my face look too white. For those with yellowish undertones, it might appear to sit on top of the skin rather than blending in seamlessly.

I got the chance to try Dewytree's, and compared to other mineral sunscreens I remember, it's definitely more comfortable to use, leaves minimal white cast, and doesn't dry out my skin excessively! (I have slightly fair skin with partial dryness, leaning towards combination in some areas) In the past, with other mineral sunscreens and matte cushions, if not applied carefully, my skin would become drier over time and white particles would become more noticeable. However, after applying a good base and using the Dewytree sunscreen, followed by a semi-matte cushion from the more hydrating range, I didn't experience severe dryness or visible particles.
ConsCompared to a very moisturizing organic sunscreen, you do need to pay a bit more attention when applying, patting it in gently, and be more thorough with cleansing.
TipWhile the feel may vary with the seasons, it seems like a good product to use from recent times through summer.

I have combination dehydrated skin, and by lunchtime my face is an oil slick, with large pores, and it's so sensitive that finding suitable cosmetics is challenging. I tried this product by chance, and it's amazing - no itching, it brightens my yellowish complexion, and the tone correction lasts until the afternoon. Plus, it doesn't make my skin too oily.
ConsIf you apply it when your skin is oily, it tends to pill and slide around. It seems you really need to apply it on a clean, oil-free face!
TipI don't use foundation on top, just this sunscreen followed by a translucent powder like No Sebum Powder to control oil. The staying power is great - it looks like I'm wearing makeup!

I already love their mask packs, so I trusted this product too! ✅ Natural brightening: I never wear makeup on my skin! I think my natural skin looks better, so I only use skincare and sunscreen. I prefer sunscreens that give a natural brightening effect, and Dewytree's does just that - it brightens my complexion by about half a shade. Highly recommended for those going foundation-free due to mask-wearing! ✅ Matte finish: This could be both a pro and a con. Dewytree's sunscreen has a matte finish, which I think would be perfect for summer. It should work well for oily skin types too! As someone with dry skin, I apply it after thorough moisturizing. If you have dry skin like me, you might use it from summer to fall, even if it's not ideal for winter. Especially great for those who dislike the typical sunscreen shine! ✅ No eye irritation: As someone with dry and sensitive skin, eye irritation from sunscreens is a big concern. Dewytree's sunscreen didn't irritate my eyes at all, and it didn't cause any blemishes on my skin either.
Cons✅ Matte finish: This is both a pro and a con. It was fine at first, but it did feel a bit drying later on. Make sure to moisturize well during your skincare routine! ✅ Slight surface feeling: It doesn't absorb into the skin as well as skincare products do. It's not the most comfortable feeling on the skin. I listed this as a con because I don't like feeling like I have something on my skin.
