The sparkling pink pearls reflect light, creating a more translucent, shimmering pink effect. (It enhances your natural lip color slightly, giving a moisturized look with a hint of pink.) It's not an overly glossy finish, but rather a clear, hydrated glow. After application, your lips won't feel slippery, and it won't cause your hair to stick excessively. The texture feels like a lightweight, non-sticky balm-type gel that gently envelops your lips. I deducted one star because the moisturizing power isn't exceptional, so it might not be ideal for winter. However, it's perfect for the current season! As mentioned earlier, apart from the less-than-perfect moisturizing power for winter, there are no real drawbacks. It does have a subtle juice-like scent, though.
