Sidmool really seems to be the best when it comes to powder. When I use this, my skin quickly becomes soft and powdery. It does its job as a powder properly, but it feels a bit artificial. I prefer a more natural skin look, though. It's so matte that it looks like there's a matte film covering my face. I apply powder with a puff rather than a brush, and I find it seems to highlight pores and sebum less that way. - jo******Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 8, 2025
Apart from one ingredient, there are no concerning components, and the formula is generally gentle. Thanks to this, I've never experienced any blemishes or allergic reactions while using it. It's excellent for oil control, so I'm using it regularly. As I have combination skin, I only apply it to my oily T-zone (forehead and nose), and it definitely reduces oil production from morning until I get home. Without it, my skin would be an oil slick, but with it, I just get a subtle Inner Glow-like sheen. That's why I always apply it to my T-zone. I also love how it applies smoothly without caking. Now that the weather is getting warmer, I think I'll be able to use it more on other areas too. I find it too drying for my dry areas and around my eyes, so I carefully apply a small amount with a brush just on my T-zone. I highly recommend this no-sebum powder for those with oily skin. I've settled on this product for oil control, so there's really nothing I dislike about it. It's also great for taming greasy hair - just apply a bit when your hair is too oily, and it helps absorb the excess. - ks*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 24, 2024
It's great for my extremely oily skin as it controls the oil production just right The downside is that it becomes difficult to get the product out when you reach the end of the tube - sk*********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 6, 2024
The powder formula prevents makeup from caking and helps it set beautifully on the skin As it's my first time using it, I'll need to practice to get the application technique down - q9********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessRecommendedFeb 16, 2024
This seems to be a reliable no-sebum powder that's great for everyday use. I apply it every time I head to school. While it's not overpowering, there is a faint, distinctive scent to it. It's not unpleasant though! - fu*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 25, 2023
I used to use the Daiso one, but after finishing it, I bought two of these - one for home and one for my handbag. I use them both frequently! It's great for setting makeup, and even when my skin gets a bit oily after a while, I can just press it on for a nice matte finish. It's unavoidable when carrying it around, but when you open the lid, the puff is often covered in excess powder. You need to tap it off to get the right amount. I use it not just on my face, but on my bangs too. I often use it in the morning after washing my hair the night before, especially when it feels a bit greasy. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 14, 2023
It covers pores exceptionally well and leaves my skin feeling velvety smooth. The staying power is great too - when I apply it before school, my skin still feels fresh until lunchtime! It's difficult to get the powder inside onto the puff. I have to flip and shake it every time I want to use it, which is really inconvenient. When I carry it around as a portable option, I find the puff gets completely caked with powder before I know it. Instead of using the included puff, I apply a thin layer with a blush brush! This allows for better control of the amount and makes it last longer too! - ps********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsAug 19, 2023
It's a translucent powder! After applying a white-cast sunscreen and this powder, my daily skin makeup is complete~ The powder flies everywhere... It's inconsistent, sometimes not coming out, then suddenly too much. I always use a wet wipe every morning to clean up the scattered powder. Etude, can we maybe redesign the container?? For those with light undertones! White-cast sunscreen + translucent powder + eyebrows + lip. If you have a light undertone, letting your natural complexion shine through is absolutely the prettiest look. - na****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 22, 2023
As someone with super sensitive skin, I tend to avoid products with harmful ingredients. I needed something with better staying power for my makeup routine, and this product seemed to fit the bill without any major red flags in its ingredients list. [Skin-friendly ingredients] For a makeup product, it's surprisingly gentle on the skin. I appreciate that it's a powder specifically designed for oil control, focusing solely on that function. Given that powders can potentially clog pores, I only apply it with a brush to specific areas like around the eyes and nose, after using a smooth-finish foundation or cushion. [Color payoff and longevity] I mainly use this on my eye area for better eyeshadow color payoff and longevity, rather than for an all-over smooth skin finish. It definitely improves the staying power, making it a summer essential for me. [Taming oily hair] On days when my hair feels extra greasy, I dab some on my bangs and crown area. It's great for absorbing excess oil and I'm sure many others use it this way too. [Fragrance-free] Many color cosmetics and makeup products tend to have strong scents, but this one is fragrance-free, making it pleasant to apply. I'd recommend it to those who've had to give up powder due to sensitivity to strong fragrances. [Great value for money] With its affordable price and effective performance, it seems suitable for a wide range of age groups. As long as it continues to do its job well and the price doesn't increase, I'll keep using it. I can't think of any downsides in terms of ingredients or functionality. If they can maintain the skin-friendly formula and reasonable price, it would be perfect. For better makeup longevity, apply this with a brush before your color cosmetics. I always use it before applying eyeshadow. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJun 29, 2023
Even though I have extremely oily skin, it controlled sebum well. The fine particles make this a staple in my routine! The packaging feels a bit clunky, and the lid doesn't seem to fit properly with the main container.
