It's fantastic for soothing my skin, and the value for money is great! I scoop out a generous amount and slather it all over my face and body. It's definitely effective for calming the skin during the hot summer months. The cooling sensation was intense, and I bought it to use as an aloe pack. After applying, I was amazed to see how quickly it calmed down my red blemishes. When I applied too much and let it absorb fully, it did leave my skin feeling a bit dry. Before using it as an aloe pack, apply your serum or essence. A classic aloe soothing gel. It instantly cools down your face when applied, making it perfect for summer use. It would be better if it had a pump dispenser. Having to scoop it out with your fingers is a bit disappointing from a hygiene perspective.

A gel I use all year round... Lately, I've been mixing it with Madecassol gel and applying it like a mask. Since my scalp tends to get hot, I apply a bit before bed. It's so moisturizing and really calms the skin! If you scoop out a generous amount of aloe and place it on a damp cotton pad, you've got yourself an aloe mask!
