When I'm doing my eyebrows, I always start by outlining the shape first. I always use Shu Uemura to define the shape! It sharpens to a fine point, and with just a few strokes, it draws incredibly well - perfect for shaping. Then I fill in with another eyebrow product. I bought it because it was labeled as brown, but it turned out to be a reddish-brown. Next time, I'll have to choose a different shade. - lo******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 2, 2024
The brown shade is perfect for fall looks. Even beginners can easily apply it, and it gives a beautifully natural appearance. That's its biggest advantage. If I had to point out a downside, it might be the price. But considering how long it lasts, it's actually quite affordable in the long run. - gi********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedOct 24, 2023
The Shu Uemura brow pencil is truly a holy grail product for me. It's not just that it feels amazing when you use it, but whenever I try something else, I always end up coming back to Shu Uemura. There's nothing quite like it for brows. The lead is incredibly sturdy, so there's no clumping, and it creates a natural look. Even beginners can easily draw their brows with it. The color itself is beautifully natural too. It's resistant to oil and moisture, making it waterproof. Plus, it doesn't wear down quickly even with constant use, so it lasts an incredibly long time. That's why the price actually seems reasonable. It's surprisingly good value for money. Definitely a recommended product! It's a bit disappointing that they discontinued the sharpening service, but I'm still satisfied with the brow pencil itself! - mi**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 15, 2023
It really applies beautifully. Even those who struggle with makeup can achieve a flawless look. Sharpening is inconvenient, and it breaks too easily. You have to sharpen it before it's even worn down. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 29, 2021
The eyebrow definition was excellent, and I was pleased that they sharpened it for me when I visited the department store! There weren't any major disappointments, but if I had to point out a drawback, it would be that it occasionally becomes blunt rather quickly. - so*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedDec 12, 2020
Even with a quick application, it creates natural-looking, professional eyebrows without clumping. The brown shade is a clear, reddish-toned brown (the color on the right in the photo; the left is Seal Brown). While the price might seem high at first, it lasts so long that it doesn't feel expensive in the long run. I used to think it was good but not amazing, but the more I use it, the more I appreciate its true value. Now it's an essential item in my makeup routine! The staying power is a bit weak, and maintaining the chisel shape can be troublesome. Since I find it bothersome to maintain the chisel shape, I use a regular pencil sharpener to make it into a pencil form, which is also convenient. If you want to draw a sharp tail end or add detailed strokes to your eyebrows, the chisel shape can work well too. - 12*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 10, 2019
This is the most natural and smoothest brow pencil I've ever used. I've been sticking to the same product for years. Sharpening it can be tricky. I've been using the same one for years now, so I'm quite used to it, but when I first started, I broke quite a few due to improper sharpening. - yo******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 20, 2019
There's no eyebrow product quite like this one. Natural color payoff, smooth application without clumping, all-day staying power, and a variety of shades! I used to use the Seal Brown shade, but after recently dyeing my hair a reddish tone, I felt Seal Brown looked a bit off. Switching to Brown was a perfect match! The sharpening... ugh. If you're lazy and just use it without sharpening, you'll never achieve that natural texture. You end up having to use the special sharpener for hard formulas, which is incredibly tedious and requires a lot of concentration. If you have decent eyebrows but want to naturally fill in sparse areas, and you're not particularly skilled at makeup application but still want it to look good, this is a must-have! It's a bit pricey, but it lasts forever, making it incredibly cost-effective. - dk*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJan 8, 2019
It draws really well and is quite precise. Plus, the large size means I won't need to buy another one for years. Tired of going out to sharpen it? No worries! There are plenty of YouTube videos showing how to do it at home. When sharpening, try to keep the blade thin and upright for more delicate lines. Be sure to check out other YouTubers' tutorials for reference. - dl********Dry SkinRecommendedDec 26, 2018
As someone with naturally brown hair, I found this color matches my eyebrows perfectly. The pigmentation is excellent, and what I love most is that it doesn't clump or cake up even when applied hastily. While it didn't cause any blemishes, I wasn't particularly impressed with its staying power. The applicator tip, which is unique to this hard formula, felt a bit uncomfortable for me to use.
