  For combination, sensitive, and super sensitive skin types: After going through countless bottles of oil control powder, I finally decided to switch things up. Usually when I change cosmetics, my skin tends to react badly. But surprisingly, I noticed fewer blemishes with this one...? I love how it creates a blurred effect when lightly applied to areas prone to excess oil!

  The brush that comes with the Olive Young set isn't great ~ I'd recommend using a different one ~

  The compact case is really pretty. The powder absorbs lightly on the skin. It's perfect for when you just want to control a bit of oil.

  Cons

  The brush that comes with it is worse than not having one at all. It's rough and doesn't pick up the powder well. I wish they'd include a puff instead.

  I love that it doesn't have a strong powdery feel and doesn't look cakey! It truly lives up to its name as a finish setting powder. When you lightly pat it on as the final step, you can see how it controls oil while leaving your skin texture looking smooth and matte! I appreciate that it doesn't scream 'I'm wearing powder!!!' And as expected from Too Cool for School, the particle size is excellent.. No excess powder flying around, as always... I'm in awe of their technology.

  Cons

  There's nothing really disappointing, but the brush that comes gratis with it... while it's meant for powder application, it's just too small...

  Tip

  After applying your compact, just lightly sweep on the powder with the brush. It still controls oil without looking cakey, which is great.

  Pros

  Applying it with a brush as the final step really improves its staying power. I usually only use cushion foundation, but since I have oily skin, I need to apply powder to prevent it from breaking down. So I decided to try Too Cool For School's powder. It helps control oil, which seems to enhance longevity. When I only use cushion foundation on my eyelids, it tends to crease over time. But if I pat on some compact powder and then apply this finishing powder, there's no creasing. It also prevents glasses marks!

  Cons

  There is some excess powder, but that's somewhat unavoidable with powder products. It's not excessive though. Since you need to use a brush, it's not very portable. The brush that comes with it isn't very soft, so I use one I already had.

  Tip

  I recommend using a different brush than the one provided.

  Pros

  I used this when applying makeup, hoping it would control oil. I think I'll need to use it more to really tell.

  Cons

  The free brush that came with it... I wish it hadn't been included, so I could have focused solely on the product. Every time I use the brush, it's not soft at all, and my skin feels a stinging sensation. It made me question whether this brand truly cares about skin. If they're going to include such a brush, it would be better not to include one at all.

  Pros

  This is a staple product! As I have dry skin, loose powder types tend to look a bit cakey or ashy on me. That's why I really like this pressed powder!

  Cons

  The only slight downside is that the brush it comes with is a bit scratchy. The bristle ends are a bit rough, so I'd recommend using a different brush.

  Tip

  In summer, it's best to use a powder puff and press it firmly into the skin. In winter, apply a thin layer with a brush.
