I purchased this product from Negoking with the intention of using it as a first essence. I've been using it very well. As a fermented product, it has worked well for me without causing any major skin troubles. Pros
I've been using this Settling First Essence for 3 years now. It brightens my face when I apply it. It's a water-type but has a slightly soft feel to it. It's lightweight, doesn't dry out easily, and has minimal oiliness. There was no irritation even when my skin was in poor condition.
Cons
None. Truly none. If I feel my skin is lacking moisture, I just layer it 2 more times and it perfectly replenishes the moisture.
Tip
It pairs well with the cream from the same line.

This lightweight first essence can be used like a skin. While you may not notice it when applying, within a few days your complexion will rapidly deteriorate and your skin texture will become rough if you don't use it. It's also affordable and has a large volume, so I've been using it in place of a skin toner all year round.
Cons
For dry skin, it may feel too lightweight... After using it for a while, there are times when the amount dispensed seems a bit excessive, though I find it applies generously and well - but that could be undesirable for some.
