The stubborn blackheads that never went away have gradually diminished. And after showering, the white sebum that usually pops out has been effectively controlled by this product. Usually, products focused on cooling, sebum, and pores tend to lack in hydration, but this one provides sufficient moisture, so those with oily skin can just apply a lotion and their skincare routine is complete. ✔️Toner Pad Function➡️I liked that I could use the toner pad to refine my skin texture without it feeling sticky on my hands. The pad size is also generous, and it holds enough essence to not only thoroughly absorb into my face but also cover my neck and upper chest area. The material doesn't pill, so it's better than using cotton pads to apply toner. The built-in tweezer in the package is also a nice hygienic touch. ✔️Ingredients➡️Since this is the first product to touch my skin after cleansing, the ingredients are important. I used it with peace of mind as it's formulated with only safe ingredients. I also appreciate the refreshing mint scent, as I'm not a fan of strong perfume-like fragrance in cosmetics.
ConsThe only downside is that the mint ingredient can be slightly irritating. This may be a matter of personal preference, but I personally found the cooling sensation satisfactory. While this product is recommended for oily skin types, those with sensitive skin may find the mint a bit too much, so the non-mint version might be better suited for them.
TipKeeping it in the refrigerator during the summer would likely enhance its soothing effects!

Peel-off indicator for easy packaging & sorting! I'm quite interested in sorting waste, and I always ponder when disposing of empty bottles. When I first opened it, the indicators were there, so I thought it would be convenient for sorting. 2. Thick pad The Hwahae Trial Reviewer skin pad is thin, so it's hard to grab. This one is not easy to grab either, but it doesn't tear and has less pilling, and the thickness makes it relatively easy to handle. 3. Cooling sensation as mentioned in the name I felt a strong cooling sensation. After showering and my skin turning red, applying this to my face helped cool down and soothe my skin! I couldn't take a photo at the time, but I'll add one later. 4. Helps remove residue after cleansing and reduce blackheads Being a pad, it's used for wiping, right? Until last year, I always used cleansing oil, but then I heard that cleansing oil can be irritating, so I started using cleansing balm and occasionally cleansing oil. On days when sunscreen didn't seem to be fully removed, I used this pad, and yellow dust came off... Also, in the beginning after using this, I was shocked to see a lot of blackheads (I usually have very few), but when I checked my skin again on the 16th night, the blackheads were almost gone. I was careful to wipe my nose area when using this product, so that might have helped.
Cons1. The cotton pad is too rough. It hurt when I wiped it on the back of my hand. I think I'll only use it on my nose about once a week. People with sensitive skin might want to avoid using this. 2. I'm not sure if it's effective for pores. Since I haven't used it for long, I'm not sure if it's not effective or if it's just too early to tell. 3. Irritating Being a pad, it does have some irritation on the skin. I think that's just the nature of pads. I'm using it about 2-3 times a week. 4. Usage experience (?) After wiping my face, there's a feeling of foam or bubbles left on my face. A bubbly sensation? I think it's from the essence, but I don't prefer this feeling. And sometimes my skin feels too wiped, like there's an oily feeling. That's probably because my skin is combination-oily. 5. No effect on skin troubles It seems to help with blackheads when used occasionally. My skin tends to get sensitive during seasonal changes, and this spring, I've had more breakouts. I'm not sure if it's from over-exfoliating or from my new skincare products (I've been changing a lot lately). 6. I forgot to mention the tweezers, so I'm editing this review 30 seconds after posting. The tweezers don't seem to stay hooked on the lid holder very well, and they ended up snapping in half. That was almost dangerous!
TipWhen my skin was reddened, applying this product helped calm the redness! If you're someone who gets along well with mint, I'd recommend trying this when your face is flushed.

On the day the product was delivered, I thoroughly cleansed my made-up skin with a second cleanse and immediately tried it out. When I opened the lid, I found that a tweezer had been inserted for hygienic use, and the pads were sufficiently soaked in the solution. The scent was similar to Listerine... haha As I am a mint fan, it didn't bother me, but I thought there might be those who dislike it. I didn't use the gauze side of the product pads, only the embossed side, gently wiping around the eye area. The area where the pad passed felt a burning sensation and a cooling effect, and since my skin has been quite sensitive lately, there were also some reddened areas after use. After using the pad, I noticed that the once clean pad had turned yellowish... That's when I started to wonder if that's why my face has been looking dull lately. I took a photo of my nose to write a review, and after cleansing and using the pad, I took another photo and felt that my skin looked more refined. After the first use, I tried using a blackhead remover on my nose, but my skin became weakened, so I couldn't use it consistently. I will continue using it and write a review again.
ConsThose with very sensitive skin should be cautious when using this, as it may cause irritation.
TipNever use this product with other irritating products.

As a first-time user of the pads, they weren't as irritating as I had expected. The front side is definitely softer than the back, so I only used the front and avoided the back. During the usage period, I didn't experience any major breakouts, and I noticed the exfoliating effect worked well. The blackheads on my nose also seemed to have lightened a bit as I continued using and wiping them.
ConsThe toothpaste-like scent may be divisive, but I ended up getting addicted to it haha. Also, when wiping with the pads, my skin felt a bit 'heated' after some time. And I had a sense of the outer moisture being stripped away.
TipI was hesitant at first about trying a new pad, but I found it works great for cleansing, so I plan to repurchase once I run out.

While they are not exactly my preferred product, I have used pads before. I came across them while searching for products to address my teenage daughter's blackheads. It seems her hormones may be causing excessive oil production, leading to blackheads in her pores. I've tried pore cleansing devices and face masks, but haven't found a solution yet. Diligent cleansing alone doesn't seem to be enough. As a Hwahae Trial Reviewer, I was able to test the mint pads for an extended period and share my feedback. While the results aren't dramatic in the short term, I do see a slight improvement in the darkness of her pores. I'll continue using them and provide an update. I've been using them once a day in the evenings. One side has an embossed texture, while the other is more like a coarse gauze. Initially, I wiped a bit too vigorously, which felt a bit rough. I'm not sure if they're effectively exfoliating, but we'll see with continued use. My daughter and I are both using them, but I'm not sure if they'll be as effective for me, as I don't have the same pore and blackhead concerns due to my age. Skincare products rarely provide instant results, so I'll be patient and see how it goes.
ConsThe fragrance is quite strong, which can be an issue for those sensitive to scents. Additionally, the application feels a bit harsh on the skin. My daughter doesn't want to use them anymore as she's been experiencing some blemishes, though I'm not sure what specific ingredient might be causing that. Personally, I didn't experience any major sensitivity, but the harsh sensation was a bit unpleasant.
Tip:)

This was the first time I tried a peeling product in a while, and I was pleased that it didn't cause much irritation to my sensitive skin. (The embossed side is soft, and the pad size is just right, making it easy to wipe.) However, since it contains BHA, I think daily use would be difficult, so I plan to use it about 1-2 times a week. The moisture and hydration were quite good for my oily skin. Even after rinsing, the pad remained moist. Seeing that the pad didn't dry out while wiping, I felt it had substantial moisture. While not suitable for solo use on oily skin, using just a serum after the pad was enough. + My sister, who has dry/sensitive skin, also felt it was sufficiently hydrating. She uses it lightly about once a week as well.
ConsThe mint and BHA ingredients might be irritating for very sensitive skin. If you have sensitive skin, it's better to use the embossed side gently instead of the gauze side. Also, when using it, there was a slight foaming, so I did a light water cleanse after. I rinsed it off because the foaming felt a bit unpleasant, but you can just absorb it.
TipApplying a light pack for about a minute on the areas where you feel warmth can significantly help lower the skin temperature.

By the way, I have acne-prone, oily, and sensitive skin type. 1. No Breakouts Even if I apply something wrong, big breakouts usually occur, but this product didn't cause any breakouts. 2. Front and Back are Different The front has a soft, embossed texture, and the back feels rough like gauze. I accidentally wiped with the gauze part and it hurt a lot ㅠ I gently placed it on my skin with the embossed side and only used the gauze part to wipe around my nose pores. After cleansing with oil, the sebum was easily removed. 3. Cooling Sensation It feels refreshing and I just feel good about it ㅎㅎ 4. Lid has a Clip It feels more hygienic somehow.
Cons1. I didn't feel like my pores got smaller ㅠㅠ Of course, since my pores are huge, I may not have seen the effects... ㅠㅠ I'll write again if I see the effects. 2. It's too thick, so it's not suitable for a facial mask. There's no satisfying 'whoosh' feeling when it goes on... you have to press it down. 3. The warming sensation can be irritating at times On days when my skin condition was poor, the warming sensation felt too irritating and painful ㅠ But on other days, the cooling sensation felt nice... ㅋㅋㅋ Use it depending on your skin condition!
TipWhen cleansing, use oil to dissolve the sebum, then rinse with water. Gently wipe with the embossed pad, and use the gauze part to remove the dissolved sebum.

The pads stay moist and don't dry out, so when using them, they glide on smoothly without feeling sticky or rough. ʚ Pads The pads are really large and sturdy!! After wiping, the pads don't get crumpled or flimsy at all - they remain firm and maintain their shape even after repeated use! However, the embossed side is very soft, but the gauze side is a bit too rough, so I don't use it as much... Ah, the built-in tweezers are great~~ ʚ Application I thought the 'pore-minimizing' title meant it would suit my oily skin, but surprisingly, after wiping with the pads, it gets absorbed quickly and doesn't leave my face feeling dry or tight. I usually feel like my face is cracking right after washing, but if I can feel it's moisturizing, then I think those with dry skin who want to minimize pores can use it well too! It must be thanks to the core skin moisturizing power of xylitol. ʚ Pore Effect Wiping with the pads, the cooling sensation from the mint is incredible - I feel like my pores can't help but shrink! It's only been a week since I started using it, so I haven't noticed huge effects yet, but I do think it's improving compared to before. ʚ Fragrance Since it contains mint extract, the minty scent is very strong when you open the lid. It'll be even more noticeable when applied to the face. ʚ Recommended Skin Type Dry, combination, and oily!!! (Not for sensitive skin) Those with dry skin can also use it, as it provides sufficient moisture.
Consʚ Not Recommended for Sensitive Skin Those with sensitive skin may find it difficult to use, as the high amount of mint ingredients makes my face feel very irritated after wiping. While it's clinically proven to be low-irritation, for sensitive skin types, it seems quite stimulating... You absolutely should not wipe around the eye area!!! It stings the eyes. There's a warning printed on the container not to wipe the eye area, but I didn't see it the first time and did it, and was really surprised...
TipEven after wiping your face, the pads are still moist, so you can use them to wipe other areas like elbows, chest, etc. as well!

The clean finish was also good. I gently rubbed the areas with high sebum production, such as the nose and chin, with the embossed back side, and used the embossed side to smooth the overall texture. That's why it seemed to apply makeup well. My face immediately calmed down and it seemed like my pores contracted. Although I couldn't see it visually, the texture seemed to change when I applied makeup, and the sebum production also seemed to decrease a bit.
ConsThe downside would be that it might be a bit irritating for sensitive skin. On the first day, I also found it a bit irritating, so I had a burning sensation and became reddish. But it disappeared in a day, and I think I used it well from the next time.
TipIf you store it in the refrigerator and use it, you'll feel refreshed in the morning and the makeup will apply well. And if you wipe the areas with high sebum production with the back side, it will come out yellowish..^^

The rough part of the pad! I think it would be too irritating to use this part to wipe my face, so I first wipe the T-zone with the softer part, and then use the rough part for body care. I've used this pad a lot as I'm very interested in it, and for body care, I'm sticking with this. And for the face, I only use it on the T-zone area, and it makes that area slightly shimmery...? And using the rough part for body care feels the most refreshing in terms of sebum removal. There's a bit of a sting, but it's really soothing... It's the best for oily skin and bacne care. And the package has a clip attached, which is so convenient for hygienic management.
ConsThe product is mint-colored, so it has a mint scent and there's a slight sting, so I'm worried it might be irritating. So I think it would be better for those with thicker skin, whether men or women, to use it mainly on the T-zone and back areas.
