I love the subtle fragrance. The texture is soft and it absorbs well. It has a consistency between a serum and an emulsion, applying quite thinly. The hydration is really disappointing. I thought the oil level was just right since it didn't sit on top of my skin, but it turns out it's not moisturizing at all. My face feels so tight it's like it's about to crack. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 13, 2021
It definitely feels less dry. Those with dry skin might be quite satisfied when using this. Personally, I didn't like the scent... It seems like it could be quite polarizing. - or********Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 13, 2021
First off, my skin is super sensitive compared to most people. I struggle to use essences, serums, or creams. Even foam cleansers are too harsh, so I stick to cleansing bars. If I mix different skincare products, my face turns beet red and stings so badly I have to wash it all off again. It's really challenging to care for my skin. That's why I always focus on toners and emulsions. I'm particularly picky about emulsions. In the morning, I need to apply sunscreen, so I use a toner too. But in the evening, whether my skin feels dry, oily, or tight, I only use an emulsion by itself. Because of this, I tend to choose emulsions that can calm my sensitive skin overnight. Even when I carefully consider which ingredients suit me and what type I should use, things often don't work out. Using products that are too gentle can sometimes backfire too. I've tried almost every emulsion ranked for sensitive, dry, and acne-prone skin on the Hwahae app. I've been a bit of a skincare nomad. Recently, I settled on an emulsion, but as the seasons changed, it stopped working for me. That's when I discovered this one. I've been using it for a week now, and it seems to suit me well. It doesn't irritate my skin, doesn't dry it out - it's just right. I'm not sure how long it will continue to work, but I think I'll use it as long as the cool weather lasts. Here are some downsides based on my personal opinion: 1. The scent is a bit disappointing. I like to smell my emulsion when I go to bed, but this one has a slight saliva and grass scent. 2. It's in a pump bottle, which I'm not a fan of. The packaging feels a bit flimsy too. The amount you get for the price is on the low side. You can get it for around 70,000 won when it's on sale, so I'd recommend buying it then. I don't think it's worth paying full price.
