ConsDries much faster than traditional white gel liners, making touch-ups challenging Over time, the product tends to solidify, becoming stiff even when the cap is tightly closed

ConsPerhaps due to frequent use, the formula tends to dry out in the container.

It has great color payoff, comparable to more expensive brands, and with its affordable price, you can use it generously without worrying about running out.
ConsIt can smudge before it dries, so make sure to let it set completely. If you have oily eyelids, it might still smear, so it's crucial to use a good base to control oil.

It still applies smoothly and the color looks natural, which I really like. The packaging also looks quite sophisticated. Once it dries, it doesn't smudge easily and lasts a long time!
ConsWhen I first opened the product, the cap wasn't fully closed and rattled a bit. It's so soft when applying that you really need to control the amount you use. It also seems to dry quickly - while drawing, it dries fast and you run out, so you end up with incomplete lines. You have to keep reapplying and repeating the process.
TipAfter use, if you store the brush immediately, the bristles will harden. Make sure to wipe off any excess product before storing it.

I've been using the original one (with parabens) for about 7 years since college. I never thought about changing it because it worked so well. Recently, I was shocked when I looked at the ingredients and was about to stop using it, but then I found out they renewed the formula. So I immediately bought and tried the new version. The advantage is that it doesn't smudge (but this was true for the original version too).
ConsThe product dries out and clumps really quickly. I'm not usually picky about makeup, especially for eye products, but this is seriously problematic. It's only been a short while since I started using the new one, but it dries up so fast that I can't even draw a line properly even when there's nothing on my eyes. If I apply too much, it looks weird in its own way. I totally agree with the review above; it's a lose-lose situation. Also, when I try to draw a line over eyeshadow, it clumps terribly. In 7 years of using this product every morning before work, this is the first time it's clumped. I thought, 'Well, they improved the ingredients, but compromised on quality. Maybe this is the limitation of vegan products.' Please fix the clumping issue!
TipI'm seriously considering going back to the original version.

ConsI heard Tony Moly released an upgraded version, so I bought it at full price, feeling nostalgic. However, when I try to apply it using the built-in brush and adjusting the amount on the cap, it doesn't draw well - either because it dries too quickly or the brush is too stiff. I have to reapply multiple times, which irritates my eyes. I might need to buy a separate eyeliner brush. If that's the case, why not sell just the product without the brush and reduce the price? I carry all my cosmetics in a pouch, and the brush takes up too much space, which is frustrating. I wish they'd provide a cap without the built-in brush or sell one separately, so I could discard the current brush. The brush is truly terrible. I wonder if the product managers even tested it before production. I regret paying full price for this. +++++ Update +++++ Even using a separate eyeliner brush doesn't help - it still doesn't apply well. It seems the issue is with the product itself. It looks like Tony Moly tried to overcome the smudging problem of their previous gel eyeliner, but now you need to apply a lot of product immediately after dipping the brush to get any color. However, this makes it difficult to create a thin line due to poor control over the amount. If you try to adjust the amount on the brush, it doesn't apply at all. Is this what they call being caught between a rock and a hard place? I deeply regret not buying the Pro 8 Cheongdam eyeliner instead.
TipDiscard the built-in brush. Purchase a separate eyeliner brush for use.

ConsWhile the color payoff and application are great, it seems to dry too quickly. When I made a slight mistake and tried to fix my eyeliner, it had already set and wouldn't budge.
TipI think once you get used to applying it quickly, it could work well for you.
