It seems like it would be great to use in the winter! The formula is also completely thick and ointment-like, so it's a heavy formula. When used in the winter, the moisturizing effect is also good and nice.

The texture was thick and firm enough to be called 'night cream', and I could feel the generous amount of zinc oxide in it as it turned white like sunscreen when applied. Compared to other typical soothing base products, there was no immediate cooling sensation when the cream was applied, but I could definitely feel the redness on my face diminishing on the days I used this cream. It even seemed to calm down the small pimples that sometimes pop up after eating instant food. However, if you're looking for an instant cooling effect, you may be a bit disappointed. Compared to regular creams, it feels less hydrating and more oily. I think it would work well for dry skin types, and combination skin types may find it suitable depending on the season. As for my combination skin, I'm finding it useful to apply it only on my dry cheeks or after blackhead extractions to tighten pores, rather than all over my face as summer approaches.
