With all the heat and dryness from wearing masks, I've been having more skin concerns lately. Since I'm not wearing much makeup, my dark circles have become more noticeable. It seemed like the moisture from my breath escaping through the mask was making the area around my eyes even drier. So I was thrilled to try this newly released eye cream from Isoi through Hwahae. The texture is soft and bouncy, with a subtle Bulgarian rose scent typical of Isoi products. I was worried about potential eye irritation from the alcohol content since my eye area is sensitive, but it was fine. Instead, when applied around the eyes, there's a slight cooling sensation. I found this pleasant, as it seemed to relieve eye fatigue and reduce heat and puffiness. My boyfriend, who's starting to get wrinkles, tried it once and liked the cool feeling so much he's been using it frequently. Since it's marketed as a gentle, mild eye cream, it wasn't too heavy or greasy, which I really appreciated. I definitely noticed my eye area gradually brightening while using this product. It seems to balance the oil and moisture around the eyes, gently evening out the complexion. I'm using this product with great satisfaction.
ConsThere's nothing particularly negative to note, but those with very dry eye areas might find it a bit light. If you apply too much and rub your eyes, it can pill up like dead skin.
TipSufficient sleep and rest seem to be the best medicine not only for your skin but also for your eye health. After your skincare routine, pat on some eye cream, and on those tired and gloomy days, close your eyes and take a moment just for yourself. I believe that such simple rest is more effective than any meditation or yoga in bringing a better tomorrow. Keep your spirits up, everyone!
